I love this short movie
30 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This adorable short film was shown in theaters with the SuperS movie. The plot was based on a manga story in which super-genius Ami suddenly finds there's someone who can match her test scores, and becomes obsessed with finding his identity. But the idea of having a rival also thrills her, as she's never met anyone as smart as she is, so she spends the movie alternately acting in love, or frighteningly competitive with her unseen rival. When an evil spirit attacks her in her bed, she's sure it must be her academic rival, and fights it off alone! So much for all the haters who say she's weak! The animation in this movie is pretty nice, with a lot of attention to detail (even down to the hint of airbrushed purple tint in Ami's glasses), and the story is fun, though some might argue it clashes with the continuity of the anime. (I dispute that, however, as Urawa from the anime only matched her scores because he cheated, showing both his inferior intellect and dishonesty, thus I think she would have better morals than to seriously date someone like that even if he had stuck around!) Taiki+Ami shippers like me can use this movie to really strengthen our case that they should be together, because 1) Ami says she wants to date the Einstein type, 2) it shows Ami associates love with academic competition, and 3) she goes starry-eyed over that guy in the magazine who resembles Taiki! This is a great movie all around, for many reasons. I'm sure even those who aren't Ami's fans will learn to love her after seeing it!

I love this lovely movie

Warning: Spoilers
All over the world, reports are coming in of children disappearing in the dead of night en masse. Chibi-Usa has a chance encounter with a boy named Perle and gives him a bag of cookies as a gift. One night mysterious flute music begins drawing all of Juban's children for an unknown purpose including Chibi-Usa. The Sailor Guardians eventually locate the source of the music and learn that an evil queen named Badiane is abducting children for their dreams to create a world ending Black Dream Hole which the guardians must stop.

The final theatrical Sailor Moon film based off the original anime, the movie was produced during the run of Sailor Moon SuperS which adapted the Dream arc of the manga. The movie with its emphasis on dreams and Pied Piper of Hamlin by way of Hansel and Gretel narrative falls well in line with the established tone and aesthetic that characterized the arc run at the time. Fan reaction is pretty divided on SuperS because of its focus on the equally divisive Chibi-Usa, but I personally don't mind the arc. Admittedly the biggest drag on SuperS is the fact it's burdened with following in the steps of S that adapted arguably the strongest most "stakey" arc with the Death Busters, and following that very strong and often dark arc with an arc based around circus iconography and dreams was always going to pale in comparison. While Chibi-Usa was very grating in Sailor Moon R and her inclusion as Sailor Chibi-Moon in Sailor Moon S was often used as a running gag in how "stupid" the show seemed to think Sailor Chibi-Moon was as a concept. Sailor Moon SuperS for all you can criticize about it at least tried to build Chibi-Usa as a character which I personally felt was more successful than not (though your mileage may vary). Sailor Moon SuperS: The Movie on the other hand not only feels like an abridged version of many of the elements seen in the SuperS arc of the anime, but it's also lacking in an emotional core like Sailor Moon S: The Movie managed to establish, and feels like there's too much in too little time.

I love this movie

Warning: Spoilers
I love all of the Sailor Moon movies but this one is by far the best! I wish Sailor Moon was still on TV..... Anyway, this movie is emotional and the animation was excellent. I don't want to spoil it, but I will with a brief description O_o. If you haven't seen this movie, don't read the rest of this review. There's this evil being know as the Kiseanean Blossom that wants to suck all the energy out of every star and planet! She took control of this alien guy named Fiore who was Darien's childhood friend. They send this flower monster thingie to Earth where it sucked many people dry of their energy. Soon the Sailor Scouts defeat it (in like, fifteen minutes O_o!) Then Fiore appears and trashes them. When he's just about to kill Sailor Moon, Darien jumps in the way!! He just barely survived. You'd think Fiore would stop after he sees how close Serena and Darien are to each other, but NOOOOO! He takes Darien away with him, leaving Serena crying. It's up to the Sailor Scouts to save Darien, the Earth, and Fiore from Kiseanean Blossom. Hey! A little later on, (like 5 or 6 minutes later!)Fiore says to Darien "Now only I can give you flowers!" What a stupid yet funny thing to say! :D This movie easily deserves 10 stars. The American version, anyway, and yes the voices were weird, but I like the movie all the same. I REALLY LOVE THE "POWER OF LOVE" SONG AT THE END, IT'S SUCH A GREAT SONG!

I am your fan on 100%.

It's one of the Worst of Jetix
30 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
What I've seen on television for the first time, and I analyzed that they've built a good team and saved the city of Landmark, and that they were hired by a boss, who asks them to work for him, and they've saved the city many times, but in its second season I have seen that they have been deceived by their boss who used them to do experiments, and also the second season has a very mediocre filler and too many fourth wall jokes and finally the ending was disappointing and mediocre. That's why I say, the friend who hurts is better than the enemy who kisses. So I do not recommend this series for the family. It's one of the worst of Jetix.

Powerpuff Girls Z (2006–2007)

I hate this silly anime
30 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Now, I know this is set in a different world to the original powerpuff girls which is a nice change of pace and it is accompanied with pretty good animation. But the stories make no sense and they are extremely childish. They are riddled with plot holes and other stuff. I don't mind the new designs and I do think Mojo Jojo , fuzzy lumpkins and Morbucks looks really good in this show but Him looks disgusting.

I would not watch this show, not even the good episodes. The original is way better and even the reboot is like moanna compared to this.

I am not a fan of this anime because has a silly comedy.

The Power Puff Girls Z has a STUPIDEST comedy just like the Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, The Kings of the hill and Futurama. I Hate this anime because all of the characters accept bad jokers and prefer the evil. DAMNED Power Puff Girls Z.

I hate this STUPIDEST anime

Warning: Spoilers
This anime is very mediocre, because it has an exaggerated padding, also Ranma, Akane, Genma, Soun, Nabiki, Kasumi, Kodachi, Kuno, Shampoo, Mousse, Ukyo, Ryoga, Cologne and Happosai are a mediocre team and family, for This is why I hate this movie because they fight a lot and they don't make amends and they don't accept that they behaved badly, and they prefer to normalize physical abuse, and they prefer to be spiteful and grumpy and hurt each other, I prefer to leave those mediocre ones who suffer and that I would never return to them, and that they better rot in darkness and solitude. DAMNED Ranma ½.

I don't want be a pacifist with these silly characters: Ranma, Akane, Genma, Soun, Nabiki, Kasumi, Kodachi, Kuno, Shampoo, Mousse, Ukyo, Ryoga, Sasuke, Cologne and Hapossai and I want to be rot in the darkness and loneliness.

I hate this imbecile movie
23 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I figure since no one's written on this yet, let me be the first. And this is from a fan, not a film critic, so hey. Well, it's Ranma, and for those of you who love Ranma, you must think this movie's like the toast of the town whatever phrases y'all use]. But, looking at it objectively, it's a horrid story. I am of the unfortunate few who don't understand Japanese and have to wait for english dubbed releases of movies, but when you get right down to it, this movie wasn't a great piece of writing. The beginning opens with I think just about every Ranma TV-show character ever made, but then they all vanish so you can get to the real story, which is your standard, "Girl gets kidnapped, it's up to Guy/Girl to rescue her!" It contains a few choice moments (prince Kirin eating meat!) but I hate this STUPIDEST movie.

It's my Favorite of Jetix
13 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
As a fan of anime and sports car enthusiast I loved watching this on TV when it first came out. Unfortunately I never had the chance to watch the second half, so a few days back I decided to watch it after all.

The story was unique, the races and sceneries beautifully animated, definitely worth around the eight. But (don't think this is really a spoiler, but if it is, this reaction will probably be deleted) the final episodes were so great that I gave this show a 9. The last few years I have seen some great series, like "Elfen lied" and "Code Geass". I can't say "Oban Star-Racers" in its entirety is as good but the final might be from the same league.

Great series like "Code Geass" already have a lot of great reviews on the internet, "Oban Star-Racers" hasn't as much as it deserves. It was good enough to make me write my first review (I hate writing reviews).

The Legend of Korra (2012–2014)
10/10
My Favorite show of Nickelodeon

Warning: Spoilers
Grounded, human, and to-the-point writing. A simple but visually breathtaking magic system, that still somehow feels physically plausible in action. Minimal mumbo jumbo and exposition. An endearing lead and supporting characters with likable antagonists, unlike most big budget fantasy TV (looking at YOU Wheel of Time). The Legend of Korra is what other fantasy series wish they could be, in spite of the franchise's own limitations.

It does not feel like an anime, as it does not have the "tropes" that annoy me in anime. It doesn't feel saturated with silliness like a immature cartoon either.

The series does lose a bit of its clear-eyed sensibility in Book 2 and the end of Book 4 (though I feel other reviewers are glossing over how spectacular some of those sequences are).

Also, it is too short! This is both a blessing and a curse, as it keeps the pacing tight and squeezes any trace of filler out, but there is just not enough time to flesh out some arcs and characters.

The animation, soundtrack, and voice acting are all truly legendary.

There are a million reviews comparing this to ATLA or criticizing the relative quality of this or that. That's pointless, but I will point something else out: ATLA and LOK feel *connected* to each other. I have never seen so many little threads to a previous entry in a franchise, from the physical mannerisms of Korra (who is the reincarnation of Aang) to plot parallels to sneaky dialogue references to quietly revisited places and so on. Korra isn't ATLA Books 4-7, it doesn't throw references to ATLA in your face all the time, yet it still feels like a continuation of the story thread more than a series that happens to exist in the same universe. Its... a reincarnation.

10/10 for the emotional roller coaster, the visual feast, and the way this series just lingers in the back of my head 8 years after watching it. That more than makes up for the warts.

... And should you watch the previous series first? You don't have to. I didn't, but I would recommend looking up some basics about bending and lore from the original series first.

Ultimate Spider-Man (2012–2017)

Warning: Spoilers
Okay so, here i go. This show,, is absolutely amazing. It's incredible. It's always been written off as terrible, lame, or childish. I'm here to tell you that's completely false.

What so many negative reviewers refer to when saying this cartoon sucks is the fourth wall breaking or the stops that spidey does during the show. I think it's absolutely brilliant. Someone of these breaks are actually funny, if you loosen up instead of being super critical.

These breaks are so important because they explain why spidey can or can't do something, they explain certain situations, and are good recaps. And even being older, they can be super funny. Sure some of them are childish, but keep in mind it's still a children's show.

In terms of peter parker's characterization itself, it's perfect. We see a TRUE heart of gold character. He's exactly how stan envisioned him. Awkward, funny, and cares so deeply for the safety of others. Going through the series, you'll understand what i mean.

Other characters are also great. A lot of people love nova, and for good reason. Each character has, well, character. They're all amazing in their own ways.

In regards to plot, it's spectacular. You really have to get past the buff of the first 6-7 episodes but by episode 25 of the first season, i was crying from how emotional i was. Episode 8 really got into the "woah" type of plot. It gets darker than you'd expect this show to get when you first take a look at it. Season 4 is especially heartbreaking. You have been warned.

Overall, this show is heartwarming and full of amazing plots and characters. I recommend this for people who like animated shows such as young justice or voltron, as well as people who like funny and emotional shows. It's amazing. It's the ultimate show.

I fail the anime
21 August 2022
I don't want this anime because it has many tragedies, for example: Anthony's death, marked too much sadness in the Ardley family, and that's why I don't want to see this anime and also if I were Candy I would tell Archie, Stear and Anthony that I am not interested in being part of their families, and that I prefer to be poor and stay in the pony's home, also the Stear thing is the worst of all, and the ending was horrible and mediocre. So I don't approve of anime.
