What Happens Later (2023)
Couldn't concentrate on the storyline
The movie is really slow and lots of people will be bored by it although the situation could have been a good idea for a movie. The performances of the two main actors are good and make the best of a faily predictable story. I can imagine that it would be better suited to be played on stage in small theatres.
Unfortunately it's very difficult to concentrate on the story without being distracted by Meg Ryan's appearance. She was truly beautiful in her earlier career but now its impossible to see her without thinking what a mess plastic surgeons have done to her face and ofcourse why she made such bad decisions getting operations, she would still have been beautiful without the surgery.
Around the World in 80 Days (2021)
Jules Verne Spinning in his grave
It's called, Around The World In 80 Days, and that's where any similarity with the Jules Verne classic ends. The depiction of the main character as a cowardly, incompetent, nervous wreck is especially ridiculous. The storylines for each episode are paper thin but stretched to fill the episode.
Keeping Faith (2017)
Excellent Series
Top quality series, good acting and story development. Some reviewers who say it's slow or could have been done in 4 episodes are obviously used to YouTube type short soundbites and have developed a short attention span.
The Father (2020)
What an acting performance!
A deliberately confusing movie depicting the confusion dementia causes, brilliantly told and directed, and above all absolutely astonishing acting from Anthony Hoping. After watching this you will definitely be worried about growing old.
After the End (2020)
The End is Nigh
Most people will stop watching After The End before the end.
The Comeback Trail (2020)
Excellent acting and some funny moments
It should be viewed as a lighthearted comedy, with some great acting, Tommy Lee Jones is brilliant in this,
you will totally believe his character as the aging ex-movie icon, such is the standard of his performance. Robert De Niro is convincing in his part. Overall it's a good movie with some very funny moments. Definitely worth a watch.
Europe from Above (2019)
Good simple explanations of features
Excellent documentary, not just viewing from the air but many selected features are explained very well.
