Anything for Jackson (2020)
Hidden gem of a horror movie
Shudder has a lot of B-movie horrors, but this one really stood out. Great performances by the cast coupled with a dark and creepy atmosphere that permeates the entire movie.
The story and pacing keeps you engaged with a few surprises that all horror fans will enjoy. The only knock I can give this movie is a few plot holes that make a few things a bit confusing, but overall it doesn't take away from the creep factor.
I'm actually surprised this movie hasn't gotten more attention. It's movies like this that will keep me renewing my subscription to shudder.
I highly recommend this movie for all horror fans.
Yellowstone (2018)
Simply Amazing
I caught on late to this show because I assumed there would be little substance after the notable cast and beautiful, scenic locations.
Couldn't be happier to be wrong.
Everything is top notch from the writing to the commanding performances. Every single actor is at the top of their game.
The only warning I can give is, if you haven't watched it yet, clear your schedule. After two or three episodes you will be completely hooked.
Adventure Beast (2021)
Should be used as an interrogation tactic
There wasn't an original thought in writing or producing the most boring cartoon I have ever seen. I wouldn't even give it a second chance with episode two. I won't even continue the review
Straight garbage.
Dr. Death (2021)
Excellent docudrama
I'm only 2 episodes in and I'm hooked. Great production, acting, and story.
Will absolutely make you realize how much you've missed Christian Slater.
The guy did his time. Put him in more things.
Boss Level (2020)
A dark comedy/action gem
This is a great movie. Highly entertaining. If you like dark humor and action then this movie is for you
The Hunt (2020)
The media painted this movie all wrong
So much bad hype about this movie and it was completely unfounded. First, it wasn't really a horror movie as much as a black comedy. Second, it dished out to both sides of the political spectrum so if you were offended, you need to learn how to lighten up. And third, Betty Gilpin is a national treasure. She nails a southern accent perfectly and her character is so beautifully over the top you can't help but to be mesmerized. The ending was a bit predictable but still quite entertaining to watch. Definitely worth the watch
