The Norman Conquests (1977)

I'm quite surprised to see a couple of negative reviews.

You need to watch them in order then you'll find the penny drops. It's rather clever the way it's done, and quite amusing. Maybe the humour isn't to everyone's taste. This tv adaptation is very well cast. You have to decide for yourself who steals the show, which at times would be a difficult decision.

It's the type of production where you may not pick everything up on the first viewing.

This is another 1970's spin-off film from a tv series of the same title. It's quite funny and is typical of the time. We went through all these spin-off films, Carry On films, Confession of a...films, which are really all quite innocent and humorous with added innuendo. Reading some of the other reviews on here makes me wonder what people actually expect from this genre!

Party Party (1983)

Brilliant

Hadn't seen this for years, so got it on DVD. I'd forgotten how good it was. Anyone who was a teenager in the 80's will remember going to house parties whilst parents were out! Brings it all back! Great cast. We can all relate to the characters and you can guarantee that you had mates like them! Brilliant soundtrack.
