The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
Come on People, don't be so sour
If you like the first Matrix, you will enjoy this one. If you are a bit younger than Keanu Reeves, you will like seeing the same agejump you made yourself. Didn't the first Matrix feel like it came out yesterday?
This one feels like the first one and isn't as horribly complicated as nr. 2 or 3. The lovestory between people of my own age is lovely to see.
I enjoyed it a lot and hoorbuis enjoy all the references to earlier movies.
The Wolf of Snow Hollow (2020)
Funny, sad, scary and weird.
I liked it. A lot! If you can't see through the over acting than I think you might have a hard time with sarcasm in general. Try again, Sheldons!
The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020)
Great Fun
Have a laugh, watch a few grewsome deaths, listen to a lot of cheezzy oneliners and enjoy. It is no Cabin in the Woods, but it is pretty funny😊. Look for reverse roles in Better watch out.
Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015)
Stop moaning you sorry wingers.
It May not be as good as you would have liked it to be. But the acting is far better than in the first reboot. The effects are awesome and the nostalgia is fun. I love it.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance: Time to Make... My Move (2019)
This is brutal!
Certainly not a kids show! And a genius move to use "the most ancient and sacred of arts" to reveal Thras history! Puppetry!
My god I love this show!
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance: The First Thing I Remember Is Fire (2019)
I want to upgrade my first rating!
After the first episode I was hooked and impressed, I gave it 8 stars. But this episode is up there with the best fantasy series/movies of all times. It can easily compete in creepy scariness with "The gentleman" from Buffy. Looking at the diner scene makes you queezy like the the monkeybrains in Indy and the temple of doom and the pace and emotion of the final scene is up there with the final scene of Avengers Infinity War. I am mightily impressed and can't wait to see the rest.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance: End. Begin. All the Same. (2019)
Henson would be proud
Having seen the Dark Crystal as a child, and being amazed, I always longed for a return visit to this story. When Netflix showed the original I was again filled with a sort of melancholy. For years we had quoted the chamberlains "Please, make peace" every time someone in my family startend begging for something, followed by a high pitched "hmmmmmm".
This first episode certainly does the original story justice. Can't wat to binge the rest.
