Beckham (2023)
Very good
I really enjoyed this and it was something my husband and I could watch together. I think David and Victoria seem so sweet and fun and are a testamement to putting work, love and respect into a marriage. David is an example of how those over a certain age took criticism and used it as fuel instead of just giving up. You have to work harder and show up if you want to succeed. I enjoyed seeing Victoria because she always seemed mad, she is a very patient and supportive spouse. Her situation at times was very frustrating and showed how many times the mom is left to figure things out. I kind of wanted the show to be longer and I'm bummed we are done with it.
The Last Thing He Told Me (2023)
Post Covid good
Let's be honest, most movies since Covid are just EH. I like Jennifer Garner, although I think she is more suited for comedy. There is only so much squinting and pouty lip I can handle in one series. The teen daughter doesn't bother me like it seems to bother so many others. I had a teen daughter once and it was not pleasant, lol. The worst part for me being from Texas is how they portray the people there like we all talk like dumb hicks with an overdone twang and a bunch of y'alls. I like it enough that I want to keep watching to see what happens. It's not totally believable but much more so than the ridiculous Sweet Girl with Jason Mamoa.
Keep Breathing (2022)
I enjoyed it except...
I honestly enjoyed this. Yes it is unrealist but that applies to a good majority of TV shows/movies out there. It has a good message and it needs the flashbacks to explain her story. My only complaint is the ending which in my opinion was very unsatisfying. They really could have done better with that.
Halftime (2022)
More political BS
Another show with politcal agenda BS. Really getting tired of this. Stick to dancing/singing/acting. Stop making this about immigration, it is about ILLEGAL immigration.... All these folks that agree it should be a free for all go ahead and put that welcome sign in your window at home and leave the doors unlocked. I bet JLo has a wall around her mansion. Jenny from the Block she is no more.
