Dave: The Burds (2021)
Man...like give this man an award!
That song for ally.... I'm so in my feelings after listening to it. This episode was really great as it explored Dave's relationship with his parents and his own inability to see beyond his selfish ways. But the scene with him and Dan as he listens to the song Dave wrote for Ally...man the sound...the regret in his eyes...this was just phenomenal, nuanced acting in my opinion. I found the song on YouTube (because it's not available on Spotify) and it's just been on repeat. Anyone who's ever had a relationship end tragically can relate.
Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist: Zoey's Extraordinary Birthday (2021)
That last scene tho...
The last scene with Simon and Zoey....they have so much on screen chemistry! Who ever choreographed that scene (who ever choreographs many of these scenes) deserves an award! I watched it like 10 times because it's just so hot and mesmerizing without being super sexual. It's perfectly sensual and just shows the build up of desire these two characters have developed for each other.

Woooow. Just wooow.
This show is already amazing but this last episode was just perfect! I love how they switched it up and had us guessing who sang what song. And the end was just heartbreaking. My god the range these actors/actresses have from singing to dancing to acting just shows how great this show is! I mean to go from singing heart wrenching songs to acting like nothing happened. Also the Simon scene with what does the fox say had me laughing out loud. I love this show!
Unpregnant (2020)
Super unrealistic
This is the dumbest movie I have ever watched. I mean besides all the dumb decisions the main characters it was just so unrealistic. I hate to make it about race, but maybe I just can't relate to this adventure because I could never see myself in these situations. Hopping in a car with total strangers who happen to be going to the same city? Trying to jump on a moving train? Running from the cops instead of just calling your mom's boyfriend and letting him know what's going on? Asking another total stranger to take you to a distant city? Pay phones? Like this was so unnecessarily dumb I just lost interest.
The Undoing (2020)
The Boring and Bland
Something about this series was just off. The editing was terrible...the scenes weren't allowed to develop. It's like they just threw some in just to fill-in the time but the never matured or came together. I felt like I was watching a lot of people getting their turn to be dramatic and show skills but it didn't fit together. Also, what is the big deal with Nicole Kidman. She has one mode of acting in this series...lost, over dramatic, trying too hard, forcing emotions that are not there. Like every scene with her she has to try to be so powerful but they fall flat and are just the same faces and expressions over and over again. And the kid...man maybe it's just my southern upbringing, but I just can't relate to a child being able to say and do whatever he wants to his parents. Like, how dare you sir. And Donald Sutherland was trying to give us some depth but his playing off Nicole just wasn't there. It was unbelievable...no onscreen chemistry. I'm disappointed because there were a lot of good actors in this show but bo cohesiveness. My favorite character was the attorney and the dad. They seemed to have depth where as everyone else just seemed to be there to add unnecessary drama.
Fargo: Welcome to the Alternate Economy (2020)
Give the POC a chance to shine and share their experience!
All the people who are disappointed or continue to say that the writers are trying to introduce a "pc" story are clearly not people of color and couldn't possibly understand why this season and these episodes are just as good as the first seasons. It's so disheartening to see so many bad reviews simply based on the story line being one that is more relatable to black/non-white people. I found this first episode to be very thoughtful in how they broke down the way the different races approached trying to create their way in America under the oppression of a society that has labeled them as "less than." I think it's hard for some to watch and truly see how POC were (and still today) treated with such disregard that they themselves had in-fighting to be the "second" citizens after white Americans. I will say that Chris Rock wouldn't have been my first choice for a serious role like this; Especially after seeing Woodbine's stellar performance in season two. I hope they tie his character into this season in some way. I think more people should give this season a chance and realize that the three prior seasons may have been something they can relate to, whereas this season is to show a different type of experience for other Americans. And if I'm being honest, season 3 wasn't that great to me so I guess we all have to face disappointments from this series.
