Just My Type (2020)
Freakin' Finally !!!
Finally a romance movie that does not have the customary 3rd act fight at precisely 1 hour and 45 minutes in..
I give this a 10 rating just for the fact that not every freakin' romance movie needs the "fight" or breakup. This decision was perfect to handle it the way they did that they just went their separate ways...
Yes, they get together at the end which is how they all end, but I'm great with that. I just hate that the leads have to fight or breakup when not every Hallmark movie needs that.
Thank you for doing something totally different no matter how much it must've hurt and devastated some execs at the channel that there wasn't a breakup or fight..
One Perfect Wedding (2021)
Perfect Trilogy Ending
A great way to end the 3 movie story..
My favorite movie is still the 2nd one, One Winter Proposal but what made this movie special for me was Taylor Cole. Her acting finally shone through and finally she had a lot of charm.
I'm not a big Taylor Cole fan because every movie, her acting is just an Ice Princess with little appeal. But, this movie was her best acting job of her career and she was finally warm and fuzzy and had a lot of charm. I wish she performed like this in every one of her movies and maybe, going forward, she's gotten it and perfected the acting art. I really do hope so because she's beautiful and I'm rooting for her to be the best actress she could be.
Everybody else in the main cast is great, as usual and I will miss this story continuing..
Love, Fall & Order (2019)
The Best Hallmark movie I've seen in years.
What chemistry Trevor Donovan and Erin Cahill have in this one. 2 high school rivals on the same debate team who tried to one up each other through their high school years. He always had a crush on her but she never knew.
After graduation he went to a top law school, then practiced in CA. Then, his uncle got sick and moved back home to picturesque Vermont to be close with his Aunt Margie and be there for his uncle's last days on earth..
She is a high powered NYC lawyer who never wanted to come back home to picturesque Vermont.
Aunt Margie's next door neighbor happens to be Claire's father's farm and he runs the towns Fall Festival. One day Patrick finds Aunt Margie's house deed and realizes the next door neighbors farmland, that runs the towns Fall Festival, is actually on her deed and that land really belongs to Aunt Margie.
Aunt Margie sues Hank, the next door neighbor, and Clair represents her father Hank and Patrick represents his Aunt Margie.
Here on out ensues a beautiful love story of 2 former high school rivals now trying to one up each other on who actually owns this piece of disputed land.
They come to realize that they have a lot more in common than just a rivalry and warring families.
Erin Cahill's eyes are so beautiful in every scene, and she's totally beautiful too. She's so charming in a fun and loving way as is Trevor Donovan. Their chemistry on screen is what makes this one of the best love stories I've seen on Hallmark.
The sub plots of their best friends were fun also , especially Nick who was hilarious throughout..
You know how it's going to end once the movie starts, but it is beautiful the way the screenwriter gets us there to the end.
I didn't want this movie to end and is one of the only movies that I was actually sad when the closing credits rolled as it was over...
Great job on this one by everyone involved in the production and final product of this movie..
Very, Very, Valentine (2018)
Another Danica Hallmark movie
As a seasoned Hallmark pro and in many movies, she still is one of the worst kissers. I cringe to see her kiss her costar and she often does not have chemistry with anyone.
Skip this movie and watch a Taylor Cole or Erin Cahill movie instead.
