Two Women, Two Men (1998)

IF YOU LIKE GERMAN COMEDY, THIS IS A MUST-SEE!!!!

This movie is magical, plain and simple. A must see of the highest class!!

Storyline:

A woman, Eva, (Aglaia Szyszkowitch) and a man, Nick, (Heino Ferch) discover their partners are cheating on them with their respective better halves. The adulterous couple is "enjoying" a weekend in Venice.

Eva, mother of 2, decides to take charge, kidnaps Nick dragging him (thoroughly against his will at first) and her kids to Venice to confront the adulterers. What follows, is a most enjoyable roadtrip and search thru Venice which results in..... you guess!!

Heartwood (1998)

Moving small town in modern times/romance-movie

This is the kind of movie that should be made more often. It simply tells two heart-warming tales. One of how two young people in a small town fall in love. The other of how a town whose existence is based on a lumber-mill, through the people of the town, lead by the two young-ones-in-love, is saved from ruin. Swank shows why she got this year's oscar. The combination of Hillary Swank and Eddie Mills is a perfect match.

If you get the chance and like movies that just make you feel good, you should not pass this one up!!!

How easy it is to miss love when it's right under your nose

If you like German romantic comedies, with the emphasis on comedies, then you should definitely see this one. This is one of movies that got me hooked on German comedies (and that should say something coming from a Dutchman). One of the beauties of this movie is that it depicts a situation many of us have either experienced ourselves or have seen happen to a friend/colleague.

Here's where I'm going to give you a little hint as to content, so be warned. Don't read on if you want to see the movie without any prior knowledge!

But if you want to get a good feel on the heart of the matter....

It's a great story on romance and love in between co-workers.

After only 5 minutes you can tell that the lady, who is a peach (excuse me for saying this, but she just is) is madly in love with her co-worker, a fast-paced add-executive, who is basically as blind as a bat with regards to feelings (not just hers). After 10 minutes you'll know they're perfect for each other. The rest of movie .... well just watch it and enjoy.
