Wire in the Blood: Nocebo (2007) Season 5, Episode 2

Boring

A special effect used the whole episode. "Handheld low res camera", made everyone look absurd and the show tiresome for the eyes and brain. Reminded me of Blair Witch Project. I really don't need that. And cheap horror effects. Don't need that either.

The main problem for me with the whole series is the emotional overdoses and this episode combines that with the grainy filming, voodoo stuff and everything all over the place all the time. Some dynamics wouldn't hurt, but the horror parody eliminates every chance off connecting to the story.

And Alex would really need a psychiatrist. But one with control of him/herself, not a psychological problem himself.

Sorry, the worst episode so far.

Mr. Mercedes: Mommy Deadest (2019) Season 3, Episode 8

Laughable

This Morris - Alma couple is beyond ridiculous. A reminder that never do drugs and write movie scripts at the same time. OK, about every person in this show is living in a universe of his or her own, but Alma.. give me a break. When she sings I blush out of shame, like when Morris talks in his animal-in-an-animated-childrens show. This does for crime shows what Liberace did for music.

I really like the first season but this is just stupid. Too much of everything, except reason, logic, likeable persons. It is a parody without jokes, a thriller without suspense.

Overacting might work as an effect, like creating distancing. But this is just stupid.

Dated

Might have made it in its day, but it is hopelessly dated. About a ham actor, full of ham acting. Outrageously overacting by some, making it laughable. Let it rest.

Parody

This series went from good to parody. Excessive violence just became laughable and all persons stupid and despicable. A bit like Monty Python and the holy Grail; except the humour.

Cujo (1983)

Boring

and totally non-scary film. The characters doesn't interest at all, and most of the time is spent in a car. The dog is at best ugly, never really scary. To interest, a more threatening menace would have been needed, at least a few people you care for and evokes some emotions in you. And, not the least, something interesting must happen. Something unexpected. As it is, this film just drags on and on, in what seems like forever. Maybe a Saint Bernhard was not that smart to choose as the Terrible Threat to life and society?

In most scary movies/thrillers/mystery, just whatever genre, there must be characters that sparks interest and makes you want to know what happens. Here you really don't care, you just wait for it all to stop, and wondering if it wouldn't be better to see something else. One of the weakest King adaptations.

Men Can't Be Raped (1978)

you won't believe it until you watch it. Which must be avoided. It is truly stupid and boring, with bad acting and a silly script. I don't think the actors are to blame, it is just badly directed and no intelligent thinking behind this awful and misdirected film.

This is truly a bad film. Don't even try to see it, it will only make you irritated. The script is stupid, and the acting very uninspired. It is some sort of thriller, with some artistic pretense. It is in no way artistic, it is just very bad and silly.

Jungfruresan (1988)

is an understatement. It is truly an awful film. Avoid it. All the jokes are boring, the script is not interesting and the actors have no chance at all. They can't do magic, and with such a script there is very little they can do to save this beast.

This is truly one of the worst films ever attacking an innocent audience. So stupid you won't believe it. Avoid at all costs. It is useless to tell about all that is wrong with it. Bad directing, stupid script, lousy acting.... you name it.
