This show is sooooo laughably terrible!!! I cannot stop watching it though. First off, the host obviously prefers males; he barely talks to or compliments the women. Second, the style team sucks! Why style someone's hair only to put a hat on them??? And third, there is no explanation about how the scores are generated. Entertaining enough to watch and rag on.

The show itself is entertaining but the makeovers look like make unders.
Almost every single person looks better before they go in.
I have to agree with the other reviewer, attractive definitely has a different definition in Canada....

Only watched a couple episodes, but your guys 7's are Canada's 5's, lol.
That being said, I know the cultural differences in clothing is different, but skinny dress pants are not cool and wear some socks, dammit!
I do like the host, he's funny! I am going to watch more, and my rating may change.

With the exception of the makeup artist. The hair always looks awful, messy, too much hairspray and the fashion stylist.. don't even get me started. Me and partner were tallying the amount of times we saw people in trench coats and budgie trousers haha!

At first I thought this show would be fun but 3 episodes in I had to stop.
1st I agree with one of the other comments the show host favors the men 100% .
2nd the stylists are TERRIBLE! Instead of remixing the person's style to make it still them but a "updated them" if you will ... they just turn them into a hipster 100% nothing in between. You can tell that some of them werent happy . They took away who they were and replaced it with someone "hotter" I was apalled!
The one couple that tied and they both got a remix they made both of them look worse!!! She was gorgeous with her pinup style and they made her a hipster! He was cute in his simple style .. they made him look silly and they took his beard away! Wtf this show is an insult to anyone who has there own style. Dont waste your time !!

Is this a cleverly done spoof making fun of makeover shows? Watched it by accident and kept waiting for the 'reveal' that this show was satirical. If this is an actual bonafide show, first of all - Shame on you for underestimating viewers intelligence. We can see and read expressions of the poor-clearly-humiliated-stripped-of-all-individuality-contestants,that look worse than when they walked in. A bunch of random voters videos and an unexplained empirical metric of a percentage on a tablet wont make us think otherwise.. The irritatingly fake, overconfident, lacking in empathy children posing as clearly underqualified 'stylists' - who's strategy seemed to be 'lets trample on the contestants personal right of expression and do the opposite of what they are currently doing'... hhahahah I swear, I'm still not convinced this is a serious show! Its got to be a brass eye spin off... I've been telling everyone about and how ridiculous it is! funny and an extremely sad. All rolled in one. Honestly. What on earth.

I can't stop watching - love the street reviews and hilarious bad makeovers. The host is funny and I think the show is meant to be light hearted and satirical. If not, then the producer is clueless because the stylist dresses the person the opposite style of what they had and they look worse 99% of the time- like they're wearing a Halloween costume. The makeup artist just takes everyone's lipstick off, and the hair choices are baffling- the unflattering shaving of beards I found especially disturbing. I think the couples are amazing sports for subjecting themselves to this amount of judgment from strangers and then a really bad makeover. The comments of the people on the street are interesting though. It's amazing how many judgments people make based on appearance. I wish they had done this show with better stylists.

It is a garbage show, but not because the host is into men, as commented a couple times. You donkeys are bigots and really have no business leaving reviews for anything. Aside for that garbage, this is at least mildly entertaining garbage. Quick show. Pretty lame premise, but who of us doesn't like to get a little judgmental from time to time? Definitely nothing to binge, but not a bad one if you're bored and tired of the same ol'...

Netflix has some fantastic shows, some good, some mediocre, a lot of pretty bad, and a couple atrocious shows available on their streaming catalogue.
My Hotter Half is on the bottom rung of the worst of the worst.
It is favorable to call this show a flaming trash heap in a sewer.
This one episode, "Fay and Jossy", the woman named Fay parades around as if she is a runway model and honestly would even scare Bill Cosby away. The only reason I am saying this is because of how blatantly arrogant and repulsive this woman acts, believing she is a beauty to behold while looking down on others, when in fact, she is on her best day a 1.5 out of 10. It's honestly nauseating.
I would believe it if you told me this show was created from a list of rejected MTV series ideas that didn't even make it past the spam folder of a producers email.
Anyone who likes this show probably thinks Jersey Shore deserved an Emmy.
None of my review is an exaggeration. This show has about as much worth as a shredded clump of Monopoly money.

If you watch two episodes you have seen them all. Gym rats in tight revealing clothes will win. Comfy an stylish don't. The only winner I appreciated was the girl in rainbow outfit. Nothing original here. There was some potential here, but the results were totally predictable. Quite sure if anyone had been wearing dreads they would have been cut. Will we ever see a show that really enhances people and embraces their individuality? Oh! Wait! We do.

This show is easily summarized by all the previous commentators before me... I 100% agree with everyone saying that they take these beautiful individuals and make them look worse. Trying to make them all look like hipsters and it just does not work. In one episode, a blonde guy with great style and a stylish blazer undergoes a "complete remix" and looks homeless afterwards 😬 I feel like I lost brain cells watching this show so if you want mind numbing tv that makes no sense then look no further 😂

Similar to 100% Hotter but with a competitive element to it where the person gets a makeover to not only improve their score but also to beat their partner's. However, theres not a lot of dimensionality to it. Viewers also only get to see the beginning and end rather than the makeover process.

It's certainly not the best show on Netflix, but then again I'm not into fashion like that. The host is funny but I cringe when he attempts to flirt. He seems a little too into the guys though, and you can tell the guys feel uncomfortable with that. Only a few makeovers actually looked good. A true stylist would bring out your true style, NOT demote it. Some of them have really unique styles and they just water it down, which I get is the point, but maybe someone likes wearing a ton of colors, instead of reducing and balancing it they completely wash it out.

This show is not as bad as the cynical folks make it out to be. It is true that the focus on style will appeal to some shallow types, and just sad that the producers retain the duties of the makeup artist only for the female makeovers. However that is about as much negativity as I can muster. The natural performances, especially by the dapper Melvin Odoom, really blow the lid off this thing. All the couples looked like they had renewed zeal for their stable relationships after they found out if strangers were dtf. If I were on this show my ravishing GF would surely win in a landslide, but I would let her have the makeover too. All in all, if this show can set an example to bring me and my future fiancé closer together, you know that's the goods. Netflix just churns out this stuff too. They would do well to give this thought-provoking program the promo it deserves!

Wanted to leave something positive here. I actually like how the couples who take part are genuinely supportive of each other and the show isn't edging them or the reviewers on to be nasty or harsh. And yes, people are being judged on their photos and that is shallow but that's the whole thing about online dating: people only see your photo. This show is not pretending to be anything but lighthearted entertainment and I'm binge watching it while I'm stuck at home and just want to relax a bit. Oh and it seems that people who are smiling in their selfies score higher than the 'cool' looking ones, so I did learn something :)

The show has some potential, but they need to get better stylists. They have no idea what they're doing. Seriously, it's as if they took random people off the street and had them pose as "stylists." I will never get over what they did to the beautiful 6'7 Viking. It was tragic!
Also, they need to open the "judging" to both genders and ask the same people who they think is the hottest between the couples, to make it a bit more fair.
However, the most important piece of change they should make is to get real (better) stylists.
