The tension starts

By episode 4 the backstory and relationship development begins to take a back seat to the main plot. A number of questions arise during this episode; Okabe briefly finds himself in the future and then returns after picking up a phone call. At the same time he apparently called back Amadeus to apologies, an event he has no memory of. Did a future version of him do this? When did he briefly go into the future, is one of the main nations beginning to play around with time travel. The second theme is Kagari Shiina, who is she, where is she, why did she betray Suzuha in 1998. Okabe starts to search for her and meets up with Moeka, which shocks him. Why I am uncertain as he is aware of why Moeka does what she does and there is no reason for her to be an enemy. The puzzling thing is why is she involved in detective work at all? IN this series there is no mention of John Titor, although Suzuha travels to the time lines that John Titor claimed he travelled to and for the same reason, although why Suzuha stopped in the 1990's is a puzzle. She knows her mother and father so has no reason to do this. Is it a plot hole, or is there a reason. Of course the main story reason is Kagari Shiina has to grow up, but there is no realistic reason?
