All scenes connected, but still lacking oomph
lor_25 January 2018
The 108th volume of this landmark series (now in the 150s) has the laudable feature of all scenes properly connected as one story with overlapping characters, rather than the usual 4 separate vignettes typically used. But the story isn't interesting, and the sex and roles are mundane.

It's all about gossip, and as usual the gossip concerns lesbianism. As with most porn labels specializing in Sapphic Sex, the boogeyman is society's ongoing (but lessening) disdain for homosexuality, but it's a tired refrain, the sort that has made audiences vote for all-sex rather than narrative in recent years.

Designated troublemaker is Lena Nicole, who tattle tales on various girls for being lesbians and then gives Prinzzess (usually cast as the sower of discord) a hard time for being a prude. In an oft-used set-up we get four gals sitting on a couch, as Lena eggs Prinzzess and P's best friend Aaliyah Love to smooch, and then sends them upstairs to the bedroom to get it on. Sort of innocent bystander in this is Abigail Mac, the one player more identified with boy/girl action on screen rather than all-girl shows like this one.

Group sex is delivered in the first two lengthy vignettes (entire show runs 3 hours), with the four of them on a bed, but the hardcore content relegated to Love/Prinzzess followed by Mac/Lena.

Lena's sister Tara Morgan (at the time this was shot perhaps the most popular newcomer in the Girlfriends Films troupe) is paired up with Prinzzess's mom Nicole Moore, one of the label's original superstars still hanging in there after a decade or so. The seductions and resulting sex is consistently out-of-character, with artistic license stretched to the breaking point as shy, reluctant femmes become seasoned sexual athletes once the licking, fingering and tribbing begins.

Finale is lame, with Lena and Prinzzess going at it. Net result is that 4 stand-alone sex vignettes, with eight different actresses instead of six, would probably have been more satisfying.
