Great for people inclined more towards classic era.

I read the novel "Gunaho Ka Devta" by Dharamvir Bharti and after finishing it i was too Disturbed mentally because of the sad ending of novel, i couldn't get it out of my mind and fortunately i found this show so i watched it on Hotstar and it was a good experience but i still can't get over it.

So you can the novel is classic and a tragic love story and one of the finest work of hindi litrature. So novel came alive in form of a show is good. And you must watch it.

And better if you read novel(warning: it may leave your conscience shattered into pieces) then you'll taste the real pain. So much can be said about this novel and show but it won't be a justice to this piece of art.

This classic tale of love is definitely worth watching

Ek Tha Chandar Ek Thi Sudha is a classic tale of tragic love unlike any other based on author Dharamveer Bharati's legendary work, Gunahon Ka Devta. It is considered one of the most treasured pieces of art in Hindi literature. The pure love depicted between Chander and Sudha will touch your heart and get etched in your memory. I cried my heart out after watching it and cannot stop thinking about it. I'm planning to read the whole novel now. Thank you Hotstar for suggesting this beautiful show. Rahil Azam (our beloved Hatim) was the reason it caught my attention. His performance is amazing and he is at his best in the role of Chander. Sudha played by Umang Jain will also win your heart. I loved the innocence of Sudha's character.

This finite series ends within 20 episodes that surely keeps the spirit of the novel alive. It's definitely worth watching.
