Accurate portrayal of the story
nhhagan1 August 2020
This is a delightful and heartwarming and sometimes heartbreaking story that properly represents how the Palestinians struggle for basic rights in the face of oppression.

Great insights into the women's leadership.

The animation is captivating.

This film shows how the PLO worked with the Israeli leadership and the Clinton administration to highjack the process and deprive the intifada of its full force and effect.

Great narrative on women's movement
sdalieh1 August 2020
The narratives of the women on their role in Palestinian movements during the Intifada were very informative. The documentary definitely underlies the deep significance of women as positive change-makers on past, present, and future human trajectories.

Human Story of Resistance
eileenmcminn1 August 2020
This is a beautifully done film showing the human side of resistance to oppression and and the difficult choices that people need to make. I was particularly impressed that most of the political events are shown through actual US newscast, and the human story is told through a family who lived the experience. As someone who has been to Palestine and seen the occupation first-hand, I can affirm that it is a story that needs to be told.

Pro-terrorist movie
tomerto-14 October 2019
A morally repugnant film that glorifies a convicted terrorist Naila Ayesh, who took part in the incitement to violence in the "First Intifada" wave of terrorism. 100 Israeli civilians and 60 IDF personnel were murdered and more than 1,400 Israeli civilians and 1,700 soldiers were injured in the violence incited by Ms. Ayesh.
