Super love and relationship video which featured a young sexy Keri Russell!
blanbrn25 April 2019
In 1994 Bon Jovi had a super pop rock ballad hit called "Always" the song's words were sweet and emotional well when the video was released it was a winner a big score as it shows the ups and downs of male and female love triangles. It's scenes show a young man who's torn between two different young girls and when he cheats his life and love world is rocked and turned upside down! Most memorable is the eye candy treat of one young sexy Keri Russell as here seen in that sexy silk colored dark green bra was so good! Overall well done music video that was sexy, fun and carefree yet it shows that life and love is up and down a struggle and things take work it's in memory as always! Plus actress Carla Gugino also appeared.

Typical Bon Jovi, but not too great this time

Warning: Spoilers
Here we have the music video for the song "Always" by Bon Jovi. This one was released back in 1994, so it has its 25th anniversary this yearf and the director is Marty Callner, the eternal Emmy nominee who just can't seem to win. At 6 minutes, it is slightly longer than music videos are in average, but really it needs to be in order to elaborate properly on the story in here and even there it comes pretty short as a whole. It is like I wrote in the title really typical Bon Jovi, lots of love to be seen and heard, some heartbreak, a great deal of long hair by everybody involved and some special visual moments with the not too spectacular fire at the end. But hey it is 1994, so lets forgive them for that. But yeah, the song aside from the one-word chorus perhaps did not impress me too much and the video and story and plot left me pretty disappointed. Clearly lacking in focus and this maybe could have worked well as a 20-minute film. We have after more generic twists very early on one woman who gets cheated on, found crying in the street by our hero. Then he takes her home, sits her on a chair and starts painting her. Okay. Not much later he takes off his shirt during painting (must be really warm in there) and for some bizarre reason the woman does the same. Luckily the females here are all pretty attractive, so of the likes of Carla Gugino and Keri Russell du stuff like that, they somehow get away with it. But it is still a bit cringeworthy and awkward. At times, it reminded me of a poor man's version of Aerosmith' Crazy that came out in the very same year, just a little less rock heavy. Overall, "Always" gets a thumbs-down from me. Not recommended.
