A classic piece of unforgettable film-making
fathertmail2 August 2019
This movie is not your ordinary Hollywood flick. It has a great and deep message. This movie has a foundation and just kept on being built on from their and that foundation is hope.

Other than just the message of this movie the acting was phenomenal. Pete Tindal gave one of the greatest performances ever. He was inspiring, intelligent and most of all positive. His performance just made me smile. One of the finest films made in recent years. It's a poignant story about hope. Hope gets me. That's what makes a film like this more than a movie. It tells a lesson about life. Those are the films people talk about 50 or even 100 years from you. It's also a story for freedom. Freedom from isolation, from rule, from bigotry and hate with rocking music. It gets better every time you see it.

Watchable, mainly for the fabulous Musical interludes!

A really enjoyable crazy romp through the dark days of rock and roll. A bunch of mishaps chance upon refuge whereby they need to find a way of securing their future. A subplot about the FBI getting involved and all sorts of other demons are on the case. Watchable mainly for the musical interludes that prevail throughout the film, especially the foot tapping 'Hard being a Bloke' and 'Frightening'. Some nice songs, funny sections, although a confusing plot, but nonetheless highly enchanting.

Quirky, funny, surreal and likeable music!

Introducing the Cherokees as you've never seen them before! Well, here's to what is a new feature length movie, of which is pieced together from the TV shows that ran in Australia. Plot is somewhat muddled, but the characters are fun, and some of the music is really catchy. Take it for what it is, and you'll enjoy this tantalising little sojourn. What the film does offer is laughs, likeable rogues, and a few nicely put together sketches much the same as the 60's tv show 'Monkees' If you can catch this, then worth your time. Like they say, Grab your guitars and hitch a ride - and enjoy life on the road with the Cherokees! Recommended.
