This anything-goes fantasy had me chuckling

I think this comic fantasy could become a firm family viewing favorite in the coming years. This was shot in three weeks by young writer and director Zachary Will and I would think that a fun time must have been had by all involved in the film. There is a good rapport between Hank and his son Ben who have most of the best scenes in the film. Hank has picked up his son and daughter from his separated wife and takes them to their grandma's cabin. She seems a sweet lady who has just lost her husband but we can see she has a problem from the very beginning at her husband's death scene. Grandma's werewolf mask looks pretty good but there is no effort to make her look too scary. I like Hank's throwaway line after Ben asks if Ben's sister is now a werewolf. Answer: "Yep, your mom's going to kill me." Hank and Ben going looking for help with their family werewolf problem and find their local store and library and Karla mysticism master all conveniently open for them at 2AM. This is an anything-goes fantasy which had me chuckling. And the running time of 72 minutes is just right for me as well so more like this please somebody.

Why do they even bother making movies like these?!? The acting was atrocious! The "Grandma is a werewolf plot" was cheesier than anything from the 80's. That supposed "werewolf" costume was ridiculous. And first graders could have directed a better film! This miscreation is an insult to the intelligence of mongoloid crackbabies around the world! Other than that I thought it was terrible. Don't rot your brain watching this.

This movie is set in an alternative universe where everyone is terrible at what they do. Bad parenting, bad policing, bad acting, bad writing... it's all bad. No blood, a body count of zero, and costumes bought on Amazon. You have been warned. It's a cinematic dad joke.

Fun

This was such a fun movie to watch. I didn't have high expection with a title like "Grandma 'Werewolf" but being the cheesy sci-fi fan that I am I couldn't pass it up. This movie is fun and light-hearted. The actors seem to have enjoyed filming this movie. Hope to see a sequel.
