Quality Adult romance with over-used format
lor_29 December 2016
Adam & Eve, on the heels of a clunker about a lady (Siouxsie Q) with an erotic radio call-in program called "The Luck of the Draw", releases a far, far better treatment of the same topic, Skye Blue's "Love on the Line". Calls with folks reciting their sexual experiences give rise (cornily) to XXX vignettes in both films, but this one is well-made and arousing due to a great cast.

Mia Malkova is the shock jock, though her easy manner is more pleasurable than in-your-face. Five episodes portray folks doing what comes naturally, and most of them linger too long on screen (in today's stand-alone seeking vignettes suitable for individual streaming mode), but I loved the performers.

Showpiece has MILFs Cherie DeVille and the terrific Reena Sky (current Adult followup to icon Raylene) in a threesome with Danny Mountain. Danny is cast as a sex expert who appears as a guest on Mia's radio show, after earlier bamboozling her as a fake-caller reciting this threesome episode so that we at home can watch it and get turned on. The warmth and effervescence of both Cherie and Reena are unbeatable.

Other segments vary in quality, the worst probably being a showcase for newcomer from Kiev named Elena Koshka, who is in her mid-20s but plays like jail-bait, humped in an actor's dressing room by untalented Lucas Frost. Frost, like Damon Dice and Jay Smooth, has recently been elevated to the rotation of Chatsworth porn studs who appear in every damn video (think Tommy Gunn, Tommy Pistol, Derrick Pierce) but who unlike their predecessors have no acting ability whatsoever. This segment has a sexy voice-over narration which doesn't match actress Elena's voice at all (the kid is heard at length in the BTS short subject on the DVD) and which I sort of identified as belonging to director Skye Blue.

Two well-tanned and perfect figure performers each steal center stage in their trivial segments; Alexis Monroe as a caller who after her sexy softcore bath services the food delivery "boy" played by Van Wylde; and sexy Kat Dior (her nipples deserve special mention) as a naughty neighbor who humps Mia's husband (she divorced him later) Ryan McLane in a story narrated by host Mia herself.

Finale predictably has Mia getting it on with Danny to round out the show. The great Melissa Monet's script is not among her best but serviceable for this portmanteau structure. Specical kudos go out (as deserved by Skye's similarly titled other 2016 A & E romantic opus "Love on the Rocks", to the lighting and set decoration which add immeasurably to the mood of each segment.
