The Sonic Franchise Ain't What It Used To Be
When he first hit video games back in the 90s, Sonic was once a really promising character. In fact he once rivaled Mario in prominence. Yes, Sonic was really promising, especially when Sega was still making consoles. But when Sega quit the console business fifteen years ago, the blue hedgehog was just another video game character. Anyway, there are some other reasons why the Sonic franchise lost its shine.

When the game makers were making Sonic 06, they pushed it too early and didn't take time to check the game thoroughly. Thus the game has some problems. Sonic also had another dud when a Sonic Boom game, which was released for hand-held platforms, also did not get good reception.

What can Sega do to make the Sonic franchise prominent again? One, they should take time and not rush games to the market. Two, it would be best if they pick a lad to be Tails. The way they didn't use a lad might have been a problem in these recent Sonic games, including this TV show.

Sonic didn't deserve a party like this
ramoncarrasquel5 October 2016
It's Sonic's 25th anniversary, and so SEGA decided to do a party at San Diego to celebrate it with the fans, now keep in mind that this is a review of the stream and not the party itself, because I couldn't attend it, and I have to say that the stream was awful, it was full of technical problems such as audio issues with a constant buzzing, a cringeworthy dancing with a guy in a Sonic costume next to other two guys dancing to a Chao Dance mix, terrible video quality and bad organization, sometimes the audio will cut out and the camera will have a lower quality, the Crush40 was OK but sometimes they will let the crowd sing but they didn't knew the lyrics and will ended up being bad.

the only things that I liked were the two new games that they announced: Sonic Mania and Project Sonic 2017, the 2nd season of Sonic Boom and Sonic in LEGO Dimensions, but other than that, this party was a trainwreck filled with a constant buzzing, terrible camera work and a bad organization that only made the image of the Sonic franchise look even worse.

P.D: I'm reviewing this event as a reviewer but not as a fan, because if I will review it as a Sonic fan I will gave it a 2 or a 3 out of 10, because they were a lot of things I really liked about this party, but still, I have to accept the facts that this was a terrible livestream and that Sonic deserved better.
