It's crazy, it's dark but, it's GOOD

Riverdale ends on a good note if not great in it's grim and dark season finale. For me, episode 12 was the real finale and this episode felt more like a lay down for next season.

This episode revealed the truth or one of the truths as to why Jason Blossom's father killed him. And also a reveal about the Coopers family.

On the other hand we saw some huge character development mostly from Cheryl. She is the one character in Riverdale who in my opinion had the most character development. It was nice to finally see her come above her abusive mother. My favorite moment from this episode was the scene where Cheryl was gonna drown and the gang running after Archie to save her. It would have been absolutely well done if only Archie had not used his fists to break the ice but his damn leg!

I can't say I would have been looking forward to its next season if Riverdale didn't gave another blow to its story line at the very last minute of it's finale. Fred Andrews was one of the characters who I really liked this season. I do hope he doesn't go.

This finale all in all wasn't without its problems, mainly some scenes which felt out of place and unbalanced pacing.

Overall it was a good season in my eyes. I would be tuning in for Season 2.

9/10.

This episode was awesome. The end was amazing well predictable (that what happened to Archie's dad) but everything else amazing. It was so epic when Cheryl burned her house. Just one of the best episodes in this season!

This Just Got More Deeper!

What a season, season 1 was for me and me coming in late to the game, I was enjoying wondering who murdered Jason and 1x12 already shocked me and I went into this episode thinking this is going to ending this storyline and next season will be new and the middle of this episode makes everything feel like it's wrapping up but I would say the last 20 minutes has me thinking "uh oh" and then BANG! I am so glad I don't have to wait and I can dive into S2 ASAP

Save the cheerleader, save the world

"To Archie Andrews, who saved the cheerleader, and saved the town".

Well, well, where we got from lines like "He has abs! That changes EVERYTHING!"

Actualy, it's not the writing, but the editing and camera-crew that elevates the necessary moments. And the makeup.

An Episode Like Any Other
RenatoPierce2 October 2017
Warning: Spoilers
It was a basic ending, the main mystery was revealed in the previous episode and it was only small dramas for the season finale, without big surprises. It was a season dragged from episode 7 to 9. next season will have more episodes, than necessary. that fixed the flaws, the initial proposal promised more and delivered less, missed a bomb and the mistake was to have only Assascinato to hold a season. Please dare writers!
