A nice excursion.

I enjoyed very much this excursion in Montana: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are some interesting aspects of Montana: the huge spaces and the wild nature (Bill McConnel and the survival training in the mountains, the fisherwoman June Starkey and the fly fishing, the rescue center fo grizzly bears near the Yellowstone Park-Dan Meat and the educational work about the importance of no feeding the grizzly-) , the fossils of dinosaurs (the paleontologist David Trexler and the geologist Gary Coverdell, the reconstitution of a dinosaur skeleton, the mystery of the disappearance of the dinosaurs), the powwow (the cultural moment of the American natives-dances and songs-the importance of their culture), the gold rush in Montana ( the ranger Allan and the gold miners village-the 20 gold mines-, the growth of Butte, in 1864 Montana becomes territory and a little later state of the Union), the classic car collectors of Montana, the demolition derbies in Montana and the world of rodeos (the clown Davis Bert, the life of the cowboys, the hatter John Morris Jr and the making of cowboy hats, the lasso champion Justin).

I enjoyed the encounters of Sophie with the singer David Walburn, with the helicopter pilot Jim Kruger, with the guide Denny Gignoux , with the artist Darell Norman, with Trace Wellman and Darrel Kipp at Browning, with the fisherman and sculptor Eric Thorsen at Bigfork, with the student Alyana Sherkas and the cheerleader coach Jenny at Missoula, with the guide and story teller John at Bannack State Park, with Jimmy Garrison, Cheyenne Garrison and with the hatter Harry at Dillon:; nice encounters with very nice Montanan men and women.
