Seems a clear example of miscasting. The script calls for Aurora to be bigger. Cami is much bigger than her, yet Aurora is bullying Cami around. I get that Aurora is supernatural and Cami a normal everyday type human thrown in with these critters, but come on, the way it was filmed stretches credibility, with Leah Pipes playing the submissive and little Rebecca Breeds all but sitting on her head. Visually, it just doesn't work. Oh, they're both very good, don't get me wrong, but look at the episode again, and you'll see what I mean.
Anyway, one other loose thought as well: Leah Pipes this season, up, up, up. Wow, sure hits the spot. Somebody else, she isn't in this episode, but aw, she really was a favorite of mine in the first season, but lost her sparkle midway through the second, bye-bye Davina fan club, hello Cami fan club. Of course, The Raven here's a Hayley guy. Then along came Freya...
Okay, shake your head at me all you want. But if you think I'm watching for the vampires, guys, the joke's on you.
