The cast including the crazy shopper Jason Roth & the impressive Priest Chris Kotcher try to help this guy adjust to the neighborhood in Hell with Demons Next Door,Killing a lot of people some who are close to the hero in life and vicinity.

10.000$ budget movie! Bad movie? No, good movie!
tronrontron-5251117 January 2016
Ultrastereotype characters, some crazy people, a apartment, and mysterious events make this movie good!

Oh well, people with psychological/mind "problems"* are almost always portrayed as very, very crazy in movies! This movie makes no exception! But if you understand that this is not the the real world, then you can enjoy the "crazy" people in this movie!

3:33 a.m. features a guy, a room and mysterious happenings! What happens keeps the guessing and the tension high! The other characters are stereotypic and the only "normal" guy seems to be the guy in the room!

At some points the movie is boring. But if you can take it, you will be rewarded with more appealing stuff!

*people with this "problem" are mostly more open, but not ready for IT, because of dark spots inside or traumas in this life and so on...

A good film for $10,000
tellstar24 June 2015
All props to the people who made this film for a reported $10,000. The story is a little weak in parts and I wouldn't call it exactly scary, but the overall presentation is engaging and the film held my interest throughout. There's some decent acting by the leads, particularly Matthew J. Dennis as the guy whose caught up in ghostly machinations. He shares some good chemistry with Scott Baisden, who plays a local cop. The script is a little uneven, but features some occasional bouts of sharp and witty dialogue. The ending is moderately ant-climactic, but the film is still a fun ride.

Special note: pleased to see a film that isn't entirely focused on kids in their early 20s.

My Review Of "3:33 AM: The Witching Hour"
ASouthernHorrorFan25 July 2015
The story that Falicki gives us in this bit of melodrama and macabre is a pretty nice bit of emotion and human connection. The lead character and the ordeal he faces getting his life back on track is touching, and the actor gives an authentic performance. I am a little conflicted about the over all story with the many other characters here, for the most part I didn't buy into the personas of the secondary cast of "crazy house mates" that call Wellhome home. However the characters John, Father Stark, The Investigator , the girlfriend, all give such strong performances that I really invested into the this story.

The special effects in "3:33 AM" are the standard mix of CGI spookiness, and creepy settings. Most of it is the practical trickery that you would see at a well done haunted attraction and the CGI paranormal stuff looks good and helps to bring in the macabre, ghost story elements of the movie. The sound effects and music is pretty well put together and really set the tone of Daniel Falicki's story. It creates the needed emotional connection to the dramatic moments and when the more chilling atmospheric stuff happens the sounds really help deliver the vibe. It ins't anything stand out or "out of the box" but it is well thought out and put together nicely.

Overall I am split about "3:33 : The Witching Hour". I really enjoy pretty much all of Daniel Falicki's work, and I also like the very odd, creative story that he weaves here. I just didn't really get a complete picture of what the story was, it was like stepping in as the drama unfolds and thinking "man this sh*t is crazy" but really wanting to hang around and just watch it unfold. Anyway, I liked the paranormal stuff, the settings, and the main characters, I just had a hard time really fully understanding on why or what actually was happening beyond what was shown on camera or John's situation. Why the heck were these ghosts so evil? Why was this happening just as John moves into Wellhome, and what tied it into the witching hour? It isn't Daniel Falicki's best work but is still a strong story with lead characters that you really feel like investing in.
