Overlooked hilarious anime
onze-kris22 February 2022
I'll be really short as the series is also rather short.

Each episode has a couple of stand alone stories.

A male voice over explains some stuff. Most of the time that is totally unneccesary. However that is the strong point of the series.

It is all about the imagination and the imagination to be found here is of a rather high level.

There are elements of girl love but it sort of is dealt with in a comical way as well.

It is bound to give you a lot of laughs so what are you waiting for.

Sabagebu! - Survival Game Club!
Tweekums28 September 2014
Warning: Spoilers
As transfer student Momoka Sonokawa is on her way to her new school she is rescued form a molester on the train by a girl who pulls out a pair of Desert Eagle pistols! She meets the girl again is school; she is Miou Ootori president of the Survival Club and it turns out her guns weren't real; just Airsoft replicas. Miou tries to recruit Momoko into the club but she is refuses. Miou refuses to take no for an answer and soon Momoko is a member whether she wants to be or not. Kitted out with a Beretta 92 it quickly becomes apparent that Momoko is a natural with it and she no longer tries to get out of the club.

Over the course of the series the club get into many battles; sometimes against other clubs but often just amongst themselves. When in a fight they forget that they aren't armed with real weapons and, as the narrator frequently reminds us, we see what they imagine… death and bloodshed! The school, and thus the club, are girls only giving the series a feeling that it is 'YuruYuri with guns'! The yuri element being provided by club member Urara who develops a crush on Momoko.

This might not be the best series of the season but it was probably the one I enjoyed the most. Every episode was laugh out loud funny even though most of the cast 'died' on a regular basis! The characters were great; not because they were nice people but because they were rather twisted and would happily shoot a friend in the back if there was some advantage to be gained. The animation isn't the most detailed but it suits the light hearted tone of the series. Overall I highly recommend this series; it might not be a classic but it is hilarious! These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

Not enought

There are 2 big mistakes in this series and the overall quality is not sufficient to bring it back over the bar: 1. Never play softair without glasses, it is extremely dangerous!

2. Do not try to play with wasps like in the show, the best thing that could happen is that you reach a hospital.

Three of main characters looks like stand up comedian (I am not a fan), the others are just support.
