A remote Scottish Island is the scene for a grizzly, incredibly violent murder, out of season the Island doesn't have many tourists, but has attracted a man from the Army.
It's a very solid opening episode, it does the job, in that it introduced the characters, gives us the crime, and gives us a glimpse into the monstrosity that committed the murder.
James Warwick and Jonathan Newth are both very proper, wonderfully formal and straight laced.
Written by Robert Holmes, and directed by Douglas Camfield, two legendary names from the world of Doctor Who, this is going to get better. 7/10
