Quest for Oriud is a fine addition to the first Chaisson film (Rise of the Zerad). It lives up to its predecessor in its sense of adventure, its deep storytelling and mainly compelling acting. The creature work is excellent and the visual effects still hold up. The only thing which would have improved it would have been the score and the storyline fitting in more with the first film, Rise of the Zerad, to identify it as part of the same universe. Apart from that, the short film is a great piece of work from Brotherhood Studios.
