Near plot less zombie comedy
Leofwine_draca14 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
CHIP & BERNIE'S ZOMANCE is a lame zombie comedy in the ZOMBIELAND mould. The story is about a couple of redneck guys who take part in a competition to shoot as many zombies as possible; there's no more to it than that. For the whole running time the viewer is asked to hang around with a couple of goofballs trying to be funny, but not a single smile is raised throughout. There's not much in the way of action or even zombies for that matter, and after a while the overacting really grates on the viewer. It's mannered, over the top, and I hated it.

Rule #1: Zombies Can't Climb
nogodnomasters2 July 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Three years into the unexplained zombie apocalypse, professional exterminators, Chip (Pasquale Murena- writer, director, producer) and his slightly daft brother-in-law Bernie (Marc Robert) find themselves in a televised contest of zombie killers. The contest includes Tim Conway, who contrary to rumors, is not dead, but might have made a better zombie.

The movie includes a bunch of silly antics. It appears Pasquale Murena gathered up a group of friends (many of the extras have the same surname) and opted to have fun one afternoon making a silly zombie film. Getting the full 90 minutes of a movie with a shower scene was not in the cards. Instead they kept it clean at 70 minutes. A zombie film, but not one that will give you nightmares. The feature was mostly smile funny in a cult film style. I had maybe 2 good laughs, The production was done professionally. Good framing and sound. Could have used a soundtrack...something classical perhaps.

Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.

Fun Zombie Film for Everyone
tiffanystilles3 June 2017
This movie is so much fun! Tim Conway in a zombie movie? What is there not to like. The slapstick in this film is hilarious, my favorite scenes are any when Chip and Bernie are beating each other up. The movie is obviously lower budget but that doesn't take away from the characters and the jokes. If the film had a budget of a couple of million I'd give it 7 stars but since the budget was much lower and the director pulls off a great comedy he gets 10 STARS! If you don't like films like The Kentucky Fried Movie, you won't like this one. I loved it and I now have a family friend zombie movie to show the kids during Halloween.
