Travis Mills has made quite some Joyce-adaptations, all with different end results: some are artistic, other ones are pretty, other ones are boring and even other ones are fascinating. His retelling from The Boarding House, however, suffers from having the wrong camera positions literally all of the time: because of this it is not interesting to watch whatsoever. Therefore, this might very well be Mills' worst book adaptation ever made. A pity, because its original story is quite the tell.
