Very Nice Work

How are these guys not making movies in Hollywood? This film is twice as entertaining as anything Hollywood is offering and, for what I am guessing, they've done it on a very meager budget. Great parody of the golden era black and white creature features that so many of us love. Think The Brain From Planet Arous meets Ed Wood at a Jersey drive-in. The acting is very good, with all of the principles committed fully to the silliness and the dialogue is just as interesting. This movie has all the stock characters we associate with this type of movie. The scientists are a genuine laugh riot, as are the amazingly well done brain effects. The music that accompanies the action is one of the movies real strong points and I was thrilled to see that it was composed by some of the film makers themselves. I honestly thought that they had found the greatest and most genre appropriate pieces of public domain music ever. Hats off to all involved. One more thing, Samantha Quintana ( who plays the character Andie ) is without a doubt the most beautiful woman in todays independent film universe. A total stunner, with some impressive acting chops as well!

Nice and affectionate tribute to schlocky 50's sci-fi cinema
Woodyanders2 June 2016
Warning: Spoilers
A small town gets invaded by evil brain-snatching aliens from beneath the earth's surface. It's up to young guy Bobby (likable Bradley Creanzo) to stop them before it's too late.

Writers/directors Louie Cortes and Lindsay Serrano peg with winning affection and enthusiasm the cheap'n'cheerful charm of vintage 50's low-budget sci-fi fare: The wonky electronic score, funky old school practical (not so) special effects (the wires that pull the disembodied brains around can be clearly viewed in quite a few shots!), hysterical use of obvious stock footage, entertaining array of stock characters, paranoid remarks about communism, and crisp black and white cinematography all evoke that nifty 50's decade something sweet. Moreover, the eager cast attack their juicy roles with infectious aplomb, with especially praiseworthy contributions from Ralph Merced as a no-nonsense scientist, Samantha Quintana as the feisty Andie, Christopher J. Murphy as the gung-ho Uncle Russ, and Jose Saavedra as the antsy Dr. Moranis. Good pulpy fun.

The Low Budget Afforded to this Fabulous Flik actually Adds to the Nostalgic Ambiance of the Time & & Pace of the Movie ! The Plot is easy to follow ; & the Light-Hearted Tone make for an Enjoyable Show ! There's Some Great Acting Performed by some Indie PowerHouses of Talent Employed here ; many of them should be Familiar to You All ! Bradley Creanzo Stars as 'Bobby' the would be Hero , who has a penchant for leaving lovely young ladies in harm's way ! Bobby's Brain-Dead Girlfriend 'Claire' is Portrayed by the Lovely & Talented Bridgette Miller , Dynamic Deana Demko is 'The HouseWife Drone' , & Magnificent Missy Heather Byron plays a 'Frightened Woman' as only She Can ! Then there's Cute-as-a-Button Carmela Hayslett aka Roxsy Tyler as the 'Feinting Woman' ! Which Brings US to the Family Trio of Talent that Steal-The-Show ! William J. Murphy is that Gruff Commie-Fightin' Man-of-the-House 'Uncle Russ' ! Stunning Samantha Quintana is the Brave & Pugnacious 'Andie' with the Delicious Derriere ; & Andie's meek & Frightened Older Sister 'Joan' is that Enchanting InterNational Scream-Queen Genoveva Rossi , who does in fact let out a Scream or two ! This is All the Product of a Great Team , Consisting of Louie Cortes , & Lindsay & Manny Serrano , who concocted & brought this ThrowBack Tale to Fruition ! This Film would be the Perfect Film for any Horror Host or Hostess to Present & a Fabulous Example of Genoveva Rossi's Earlier Appearances in Her Glorious Film Career !
