Julia discovers that there is a cabin where he husband might be and she flees from the quarantined hospital. She faints and Barbie saves her. Big Jim finds Angie locked up in his shelter.

"Outbreak" is another average episode of "Under the Dome". Let's see the reaction of Big Jim with his discovery. My vote is seven.

Warning: Spoilers
WARNING: SUPER SPOILER/EPISODE DESCRIPTION

Ep. Description: In this episode, there's a big outbreak of Meningitis. Everyone thinks it's all over, (Their trapped in a friggin dome, no medicine, people dieing) but they make a marvelous plan and figure it all out. Well come back to that later. Moving on with the side stories, Angie is still trapped in the underground dungeon.

Angie is pretty smart. She tries to be affectionate to make crazy junior let her go. In the last episode, she was giving junior first aid and snagged some scissors from the first aid kit. She tries to make them into a weapon, breaking them in half and then sharpening. She only sharpens for like 1/2 minute until junior comes in to give her clothes or something. She makes the stupid move of using the pretty much unsharpened knife blade. Junior gets cut on his hand while blocking the scissor blade and leaves with just that. Right afterwards, she starts grabbing for things on the top of the bunk bed and grabs onto a pipe which starts pumping water into the underground bunker. Angie's afraid she'll drown.

Now back to the episode. One person gets meningitis, then they all pour in. Medicine is running out. Only the people with immunity shots are safe, but with a few exceptions. They go out for medicine and find that the priest is pouring the medicines out and saying that it's "god's plan" for the people to die and why the dome is there. They get the medicine back. When it seems like it's spreading to everyone, they have the idea to quarantine it to the hospital. They put ranger junior in charge of keeping the people inside the hospital and he does a pretty good job. His dad and deputy Linda recommend for junior to be a deputy/officer/?.

The reporter chick is still looking for details about her husband. She finds her husband's car at the radio guy's house, but he's getting meningitis too. He says that he bought it from him. Barbie finds out and gets grilled for question. Somewhere it slips out that the cabin where Barbie killed the reporter's husband. She finds where Barbie killed her husband. We find out that Barbie is a person who finds people who owe money for gambling and gets them to pay. Barbie lies to the reporter and says that her husband isn't dead, but ran away from town or a bit. She kicks him out of her house and Barbie has nowhere to go.

Junior's dad hears screaming in the backyard when he comes home. He goes to check it out and it's coming from the bunker! He rushes down here and finds Angie. He's shocked and that leaves the episode as a cliffhanger.

REVIEW: This episode was awesome. It was a serious upgrade from last week's "manhunt" episode. You definitely won't get bored in this one because it's just constant story. It's great character building and you get to learn more about them. I reeeeally hope that they don't cancel this series. 8/10.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was just ok. The meningitis outbreak came out of nowhere and it was never explained where it came from and how the whole town got sick at the same time. This episode is slightly better than the previous episode because at least the story starts to advance again. Julia finds out barbie has an association with her husband. Jim finds Angie in the bunker. It seemed like the series was getting back on track with episode 4. It was good to see the writers were not dragging out certain parts of the story. The pacing of season 1 is good. One thing I didn't like was the inconsistency in Juniors character. One minute he's a complete lunatic and the next minute he talks to the townsfolk like he's Moses.

If you've read the book you know what a joke this series is!!

Warning: Spoilers
I am so disappointed that this S.K. novel had been ruined! Most of what I've seen is nothing like the book. I am so disappointed because I was looking forward to watching this. By the end of the first episode I was like is this the right story... I have to say I was happy to see other S.K. readers have had the same reaction. None of the characters are like the book. Where is Duke's wife? Where's Rusty? Linda the Sheriff!!!! Key players are missing. The whole Angie situation is a joke. Just very upset how this is labeled "Under the Dome" by Stephen King and yet it's a completely different story. Meningitis Outbreak!!!!!!!!!!! Come on. S.K. Did you really approve this trash!!!!
