Amazing Show
igorgoncalves4283 December 2013
It was an epic episode of The Mentalist. I must say I'm impressed with the script, the way the writers do the conversation between the characters is fantastic. I know some people in USA have already seen this episode and that many of them are not liking the path of this show, but everyone has to admit this show has shown strong performances and that keeps this show interesting. Many people say this show is getting boring and I don't disagree, but the story is also getting interesting and taking Red John battle to a new level. Simon Baker is doing a terrific job, and I couldn't enjoy more my Monday nights (Portugal) than watching The Mentalist.

A Fitting Start for the End !!!

Warning: Spoilers
***This Review Contains spoilers****

For an ardent follower of this series, one can't ask for a better start. With Jane solving an interesting off-town case in his own style, Lisbon snubs Jane & plants GPS bug on 7 suspects and follows a suspect in a disturbed state.

Jane trying to call Lisbon after a brief quarrel with Lisbon for telling Grace about the list, finally Jane gets a call...

But RJ speaks and he has reduced the list to 6 !!!

Gripping final moments ends with RJ signing off the smiley on Lisbon's face !!!!

Good start to the season

Warning: Spoilers
Sure its not the best show on TV, and they do need to wrap it up soon, but it was a good episode. Nice start to the season, with that nice cliff hanger ending. I hope this is the last season or the next season is the last at the very least.

The episode is basically your basic mentalist red john chase episode however it shows that they are closing in on red john. He has narrowed it to 7 suspects and then 1 gets killed which ends up making it 6. Scene ends with Lisbon and Red Jon, and a cliff hanger not showing if she is dead or not, however I think she is still alive and Red Jon is just taunting Jane

The List
claudio_carvalho22 January 2022
After a mission with tragic conclusion, Patrick Jane and Lisbon are sent by Gale Bertram to a place located in the desert. Meanwhile Lisbon discloses the list of Patrick Jane to Rigsby, Van pelt and Cho. Lisbon is sent to a trap where she finds Partridge lethally injured and is captured by Red John.

"The Desert Rose" is among the best episodes of "The Mentalist". Red John seems to be omnipresent to the discoveries of the CBI agents. My vote is nine.

stupid stupid stupid

Warning: Spoilers
I'm not kidding - this has to be the most ridiculous episode not only of this series but for TV as a whole.

So, there is this Killer "Red John" that they have been chasing for 5- seasons, right? Patrick Jane has the identity of Red John narrowed down to 7-possible suspects (from season 5 finale). Lisbon demands to know the identities of the 7, so Jane swears her to secrecy and reluctantly tells her. Lisbon then tells Van Pelt, who tells Rigsby, who then tells Cho.

I'm not kidding - these are supposed to be members of a highly trained elite 'major crimes' unit, right?

Lisbon then gets a lead on the location of one of the suspects (doesn't say which one) so she goes there alone and without telling anyone. Yeah, right - that is really believable.

She enters a dark building alone ... and of course she gets slashed up.

Episode ends with Lisbon laying their slashed up but it doesn't say whether she is alive or dead (hopefully dead).

I will be surprised if this show makes it through the season.

I created an account because this season and episode were so bad

Warning: Spoilers
So yeah, this season went so down hill it buried itself

1. A few episodes before they once again they "capture" a red john accomplice, which are known to kill themselves/die and they just let her do it. God that was awful writing, 2. And now in this episode we have.

2.1 They know red john will try to use the trackers against them 2.2 Terisa gets and extremely suspicious phone call regarding one of those trackers 2.3 Terisa calls for backup and goes without telling anyone 2.4 Terisa sees there is no backup and goes in alone 2.5 Terisa gets abducted - shocked Pikachu face

Seriously, do they take the audience for absolute ido*ts? Are we suppose to believe this? Feel any connection to such stupid and unrealistic characters?

How du*b are the writers that they just completely destroy characters that have been build for 5 seasons like that???

LAZY S**** DISREPECTFUL HORSE ****

That should be the title of the episode.
