Nick and Jess finally go on a date an no surprise it is one of the most awkward things the show has ever done and with Dermot Mulroney coming back as Russell just made it even more awkward. Jake and Zooey have such a great chemistry that has been built together making anything they do comic gold which included the two being turned on and coming up with ideas for their date. Max and Lamar have also become a great comedic pair on the show in contrast to their pairing and their adventures in this episode while more enclosed to the apartment being just as funny for how great the two get along and bringing a Hobo into their home having to be the outrageous trigger that made them realize this. The show has reached a level of quality I never though it would and now I'm happy that it has as the show works so well for it's writing and ensemble with this being one of the best episodes the show has ever done.
