Not to say that Miami can't win the series, but it's a less exciting matchup than Boston would've been. The Celtics with a high ceiling and unfortunately we lose the TNT crew and get Mike Breen instead. It's much the same as in the bubble with the biggest threats being taken out for LeBron, with Miami there as well. Gordon getting all the buckets early and Porter blocking shots, an unlikely combination. Denver leads by 9 at the quarter break. Adebayo doing well for Miami, but no one else can anything going and the Nuggets take a commanding 17-point lead to the half. They're getting an even contribution from everyone. Miami fail to make any inroad in the 3rd and down 21. Lowry hits back to back 3's early in the 4th to cut the deficit to 10, but the Heat are never in it at any stage. Neither team shot well, Denver better from the field, but just 30% from 3. The Nuggets got significantly more production at the line though, Miami with just 2 free-throw attempts for the game. Both teams took care of the ball and the boards close to even as well. Jokic though hardly looking to score, ends the game with an efficient 27-point triple-double, 14 assists and 10 boards. Gordon 16 points and 6 boards, no turnovers. Murray 26 points, 10 assists and 6 boards. For Miami, Adebayo 26 points, 5 assists, 13 boards, 4 offensive, with just 1 turnover. Vincent 19 points and 5 assists. Butler with just 13 points and Martin and Strus combine 1 of 17 from the field.
