As ever, a bit of a mixed bag semi-final, with some real dross amongst the acts I'm afraid.
There is some real quality on show though, and these performances will stay in the memory (well, at least for a while) as the weaker ones are forgotten before the show has even finished for the night.
When it is good, BGT is still of the best shows on telly, it's just that the well of talent feels like it is running a bit drier this year than in previous ones. I'm not against foreign competitors taking place though, unlike some very vocal people online.
On the whole though, while it drags on for ages, this was another fun semi.
