Reese first catches up with the latest number, Dr. Richard Nelson, when he is being awarded the title of professor emeritus at a lavish dinner banquet. Dr. Nelson is a well respected and renowned cardiac surgeon and researcher, with his credentials suggesting that he is the target. That is indeed the case, but Reese and Finch are too late: someone has poisoned Dr. Nelson after he ingested something at that banquet that was slipped into his food or drink. Dr. Nelson first believes that Reese is the culprit, but Reese convinces him that he is only there to help find who did it, even if Reese cannot save him as he finds out the poison is radioactive, which is eating Dr. Nelson's insides and which also means that he will probably die within 24 hours. Reese, Finch and Dr. Nelson have to find out what Dr. Nelson ate or drank that was the source of the poison, and wade through the many facets of his life to find the killer. Among the suspects are Dr. Nelson's estranged daughter Molly, or ... Written by Huggo

Dr Nelson, when his nose begins to bleed, places a napkin underneath the nostril and tilts his head back. A cardiologist (or any doctor) would not employ this outdated technique, the correct procedure is to keep the head level and apply firm pressure to the sides of the nose to stop the blood flow. Joss Carter: Talk to me, Lionel. Why is IAB all of a sudden putting the screws to you?
Detective Lionel Fusco: You know, I tried to come to you. In this very room. To tell you about past mistakes I've made. But you didn't want to hear it.
Joss Carter: I'm listening now.
Detective Lionel Fusco: Just chickens coming home to roost. Bad things happen to people around me, Carter, so you should get out of here.

Fusco Gets the Spotlight and Machine Out of Whack!
29 April 2013 | by (Seymour Tennessee) – See all my reviews

Reese and Finch must help out a doctor who is really a great doctor but a lousy human being as he has cheated and really was not at all a great father to his his only daughter.

As he is poisoned and Reese and Finch are unable to save him. But can catch his killer. As Fusco finally gets the spotlight. As he is the subject of an IAB investigation.

Due to being busy, Reese had to turn down Carter's request to help her partner. As he is busy with the doctor. But Fusco wants Carter safe and out of trouble and politely but firmly tells her not to get involved.

As we see flashbacks of Fusco as a dirty cop with the HR group. But ever since meeting Reese and Finch, along with Carter. He has really changed and is going undercover to get the dirt on HR and only pretending to be dirty.

Sure that Reese can be a jerk to Fusco due to him being dirty. But hopefully that will change as Fusco is trying to be on the good side. But at least, Carter came through to him as Fusco is cleared for now. As she and Bear help him out. As he was accused of a murder.

Unfortunately the doctor dies but not before coming face to face with his killer. As Reese and Finch claim that they are arriving too late to save others, or have been doing things at a split second.

The computer has finally been off line and has a glitch in it. As that will set up for the final two episodes of the season.

Fusco has always been misunderstood but really a great comic relief that his actor, Kevin Chapman will get a Emmy nod at least for this performance!
