Stepping into the World of Shoes
sweatandkute9822 May 2023
"In My Shoes" is a delightful and whimsical film that takes the concept of anthropomorphic objects to new heights. The film follows a pair of shoes that come to life and embark on a journey of self-discovery. The cinematography is top-notch, with the shoes' expressions and movements conveying a range of emotions that are surprisingly relatable. The film's humor is clever and charming, and the story is both heartwarming and inspiring. "In My Shoes" is a testament to the power of self-confidence and the importance of finding one's place in the world. It is a must-see for anyone who loves Loay's work or has ever wondered what their shoes might feel if they could be alive.

The definition of state-of-the-art

Cielo was not just playing with my mind, he was playing with my hormones. He is THE king of perspective.

I mean, this literally changed my view of life, look at life from less than two meters below your eyes is a totally different life all together.

I loved how when you're fully invested in the story of one character, the next arc will pull you forcefully from your excitement and put you into another one so you'll keep wanting more and more. The flow of the film is flawless, it is breathtaking.

You'll get totally emerged when watch this film you'll not know when someone is being murdered next to you.

A film about empathy
randasplitsine18 June 2023
Loay Tattan's "In My Shoes" is a remarkable film that takes a simple object - a pair of shoes - and explores the complex web of human relationships that surround it. Through a series of interconnected stories, the film illuminates the ways in which our lives are shaped by the objects we use and discard, and how those objects can connect us to others in unexpected ways.

Tattan's direction is masterful, with a keen eye for detail and a sensitivity to the emotional undercurrents of each scene. The cinematography is stunning, capturing both the beauty and the grit of the film's world with equal skill.

The film is anchored by a remarkable performance from the "supposed" shoes themselves (Kodos to the camera man), which become fully realized characters in their own right. Through their journey, we come to understand the joys, sorrows, and struggles of the people whose lives they touch, and the ways in which those lives are intertwined.

At its core, "In My Shoes" is a film about empathy, about the ways in which we can learn to see the world through the eyes of others. It is a profound and deeply moving work of art that deserves to be seen and celebrated by audiences worldwide. Simply put, it is a triumph of cinema, and a true masterpiece of the art form.

God gave and took away

Warning: Spoilers
I assume the writer believed in God, because the fainting of the poor man was emotional, and fateful. God works in mysterious ways, he takes something (in this case health) for something (in this case the shoes), but you maybe ask: shoes are not more important than health, and you'll be right, but didn't you notice the shoes had life as well? And why you should value your life and health more than the shoes'? I know it is fictional and a fantasy, but isn't that the point of it?

This film makes you think and think and think forever and come back to it again and start thinking all over again forever.
