Corny and miscast rom-com

Stormy Daniels' affection for traditional Hollywood genre films is obvious in this Wicked vehicle for her, directed not by Stormy but by the label's elite cameraman Francois Clousot. Though Stormy impresses with her performance, her script is strictly old-hat, and casting her real-life partner (at the time) Brendon Miller as the male lead ruins the show.

Title signals the plot hook: Stormy still has a jones for her high school classmate, muscular TJ Cummings, so she wants to see him again as well as impress everyone at the school reunion. She manages to talk her best buddy (also since high school) Brendon Miller into accompanying her to the shindig to put up a front together as successful since graduation.

Cliches abound en route to a completely predictable happy ending. Stormy gets to have many costume changes, and is strong in the sack. Cummings is amusingly smug as the straw man baddie, but Miller is far, far from leading man material, evidenced by the paucity of roles he's earned apart from nepotism vis a vis superstar Stormy.

One inexplicable element is casting Veronica Avluv as the class star who lords it over Stormy at the reunion party that Avluv is hosting. She goes off with Miller at one point for sex but that scene is omitted entirely -perhaps edited out of the finished product but clearly cheating the fans, unless of course they agree with me about the unsuitability of Miller in the cast in the first place. Left in the movie is an awful, utterly extraneous scene of Miller on open mic night in a small bar singing very badly on purpose -it's supposed to be amusing but is simply awful.
