Season 10 and to start the season all the contestants are split up to go to separate challenges with each of the judges plus new judge Wolfgang Puck. The best at each individual place will move onto Seattle. First challenge is in Tom Colicchio's restaurant as he gets the contestants to actual work on service. These first chefs are Lizzie Binder, Anthony Grey, Micha Fields, Jorel Pierce and John Tesar. In Las Vegas Emeril Lagasse has five chefs making soup. They are Joshua Valetine, Stephaine Cmar, Jeffrey Jew, Tina Bourbeau and Kristen Kish. Jeffrey is the first told to get a top chef coat and move on. Tina and Stephaine are then told that they are not moving on which leaves Kristen and Joshua to go to Seattle with Jeffrey. Back in Los Angeles Tom tells John he is moving onto Seattle. In Beverly Hills new judge Wofgang meets with six more contestants to make an omelet. They are Carla Pellegrino, Eliza Gavin, Chrissy Camba, Tyler Wiard, Daniel O'Brien and Kuniko Yagi. Time is up and Wolfgang tells five of them are going and one of them is not going. Daniel is the one to pack up his knife while the others go to Seattle. Wolfgang then tells his chef's how to make a good om4let. In Atlanta Hugh Acheson has the final five members to make a salad in 45 minutes. The chefs are Sheldon Simeon, Bart Vandaele, Gina Keatley, Danyele McPherson and Brooke Williamson. Time is up as Hugh observes everyone's salads. Hugh tells Brooke she was the first to get a top chef coat. Tina is the one to pack her knifes and other other three go to Seattle. Back to Los Angeles with Tom thinking of who will go through. We find out some of Tom's decisions in voice-over as he talks about the personalities of the chef's. Tom then brings his chef's outside after to tell them their faith. Lizzie and Micha move on while Jorel and Anthony are eliminated. The season will start next week for real in Seattle.
