Inspiring

A great diary of a man who didn't give up.

Heart-warming, enjoyable.

If you've ever known someone to suffer from this kind of terminal illness, it might be hard to watch, and also inspiring nonetheless.

I found it challenging to view, after my own experiences with this kind of affliction, but Larry's humour and will was outstanding.

The people around him and the community of folks he encountered give a truer sense of American life.

I don't know why this film isn't more popular. I believe if you buy the DVD some of the money goes to one of the supporting foundations, and at the credits there are more options if a donation wouldn't be too much to ask for.

Very moving and educational

Truly inspiring documentary which introduces you to Larry and his lovely wife Betty fighting their daily struggles against Parkinson's disease and the bicycle journey they embark as a community through South Dakota. This documentary educates you about the disease and the way different research teams are trying to improve the lives of their patients. It also invites you to keep an open mind in dealing with medical marijuana as an extra option for care. Overall, a very moving documentary which shows the love and strength of family, friends and community coming together to support Larry who is hungry for life and will not give up no matter what. Congratulations !!

Lovely story of will and passion

Is incredible what a human been can achieve by the power of mind, even when your body is not responding to you.

Larry's struggles became his motor to do something that even someone healthy would have difficulties to accomplish. His story is full of determination, will, fun and passion.

The film, and specially Larry, reminded me that even in the worst scenarios ... "Never give up"
