Impressed at the screening
mgreeny823 April 2013
What an entertaining and relatable look at college life in the 21st century. I really enjoyed the overall film. When I saw the screening, I was impressed with the way the cast and crew (I believe all of college age) were able to portray college and the apocalypse in such an entertaining, and at times comedic light. The dialogue throughout was clever and unpredictable. The acting for the most part was solid, probably due to casting. My favorite seen was the dorm room card game, the chemistry on screen was great. Though the budget may not have been much, the overall production was rather impressive. Can't wait to see what the Laventure brothers have in store for the future.

College students humorously deal with the threat of the end of the world.
LetsGoOutToTheMovies23 April 2013
This lighthearted look at the very dark prospect of possible imminent annihilation offers a glimpse into the social lives of students in a place of higher learning. Prompted, it seems, by the hysteria over several theories bandied about that predicted the end of the world in 2012, this film is timely as well as entertaining. Additionally, modern humor, inside jokes, and subtle messages make this film fun to watch and re-watch. Filmed apparently with a small budget, no special effects, and no big-name talent, the camera work, sound quality, and directorial decisions are superb. What a great first effort for the Laventure brothers and Airship Cinema.
