A great interpretation of a film classic
mh19746 November 2016
After a television show has been on long enough they will eventually film their own version of Rear Window or It's A Wonderful Life. Here the Leverage offers their own version of Rear Window with Parker stuck at home with a sprained knee while the rest of the gang is in Japan. Parker begins watching the security feed of the restaurant and notices two shady characters planning a crime. While several other shows have taken a stab at Rear Window, Leverage managed to stay true to the classic film by not only incorporating the story line of the criminals, but also that of some of the other patrons: the guy who orders the same dish and sends it back every time, the perfect couple referred to as Sid and Nancy who are not as perfect as they seem and two people dubbed Romeo and Juliet who are right for each other. Eventually all story lines are wrapped up and Parker manages to survive her convalescence period in true Parker fashion.

You brought a gun into my bar?

The Broken Wing Job

When a torn ACL leaves Parker behind on the crew's latest job, she spies on the Brew Pub's customers for fun and discovers a group of thieves planning a heist.

While watching on a security cam, she sees a customer carrying a revolver in his waistband and says, "You brought a gun into my bar?"

The writers of Leverage are apparently not familiar with the law in Oregon.

Oregon is a "shall issue" concealed carry state. It is legal to carry in restaurants and pubs there, and "No gun" signs do not have the force of law. So, there are probably a lot of people carrying guns in Hardison's brew pub.
