Dumb

Warning: Spoilers
Dumbest episode I have watched!

The husband asked for a divorce and the wife didn't want one. Just divorce him and then it's not cheating. Give him what he wants. He asked for one hence he is "not cheating". Even if it is not legally/legit signed on paperwork. The court/government paperwork/administration takes a while to process. Hell it takes forever for HR to process paperwork in companies-which is stupid. Same with this. Wife is in denial.

The wife also needs to get a job rather than banking off of him. Get off her ass and get a job. I wonder what would have happened to her if she didn't get her half of the money.

The other part money laundering and misuse of military resources, inappropriate military behavior as a leador, etc., is the only legit charge that should be true. The sentence was too light for that charge though.

Wife was unlikable and annoying

Warning: Spoilers
Even though the husband Jim was supposed to be the bad spouse in this episode, I wound up rooting for him over his annoying, unlikable ex-wife. Her nonstop snide remarks about her ex-husband, the other woman (Nadine), and Nadine's family were petty and immature. Her level of vindictiveness against her ex-husband was over the top and her behavior seemed obsessive to me. If you haven't seen the episode, she looks and sounds exactly like Betty Broderick.

Anyone who watches this episode would fully understand why Col. Johnson chose a beautiful, pleasant Iraqi refugee woman over his unattractive, unpleasant American wife.

I'm glad Jim Johnson was never incarcerated, and I have no doubt that the military judge had pity on him for suffering through a nightmare marriage. I hope he is enjoying life with Nadine and far away from the ex-wife who continues her efforts to destroy his life.
