- Some videos may contain comical references to sex. However, certain contestants purposely and rightly avoid using any sexual references as a means of humor in their videos.
Violence & Gore

- Minor slapstick comedy.
- One team is assigned to make a horror movie in an episode. There is a bit of fake blood in it. However, it is very obvious and this is all fake.
Profanity

- There are a few words here and there such as "hell," "damn," "crap," "ass," etc. Anything too extreme is bleeped.
- In one episode, while a team is in the process of filming their video, producer Andy Fickman says "get this shit out of here," however, the profanity is bleeped.
- In a later episode, while judging, Jenna Marbles says the F word, which is also bleeped.
- Some videos may contain minor swear words. One video had the word "penis" in it, while another made a play off the word "ha-bitch-uary."
- A team's name is innocently "Fu Music" in season 1 (they are musical brothers who's last name is "Fu". Another team jokingly refers to them by saying "Team Fu... 'F' you!" referring to how they are impressively succeeding in the contest.

- It could be possible that a contestant's video could reference someone being drunk, but apart from that, nothing.

- NOTE: most of the above is only featured IN the videos that these contestants make, which are clearly fake - it's a contest for who can make the best video.
