Another brilliant 42 minutes of TV. Chicago PD is on fire this season, pulling no punches.
Moral of the story? Don't do overtime. That's what gets Upton conked on the head seconds after she finds a young girl tied down in a sketchy, dirty place. The girl tells her to run. Tenacious Upton doesn't, of course. She gives chase, identifying the girl and trying to find her.
Child trafficking is the theme of this episode, so it is by no means an easy watch.
Good acting - Tracy Spiridakos shines here. You can feel her urgency and her Halstead-related hurt as well. Jefferson White (of "Yellowstone" fame) guest stars as Chief O'Neal's son, tied up in the disappearance of the young girl. (Weird not seeing White in a cowboy hat, working with Rip and co.)
The penultimate scene was depressing and the final scene is disturbing. Upton's arranging of all the case files reminded me of Carrie in the first season of Homeland with her wall map on Brody. She almost made a believer out of Voight with her theory...and the next few episodes are going to be pretty interesting, I think.
