Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • Only two scenes with violence:
  • One scene depicts the real-life fight between the telegraph operators and an engineroom worker who broke into the room to steal their lifejackets. The scene includes a lot of throwing around and punching, but ends in the worker being hit across the head with a candlestick, then cuts to blood splattering on the wall. There is no direct depiction of the blow to the head.
  • Another scene shows a crew member trying to climb aboard a lifeboat, but he gets hit over the head by an oar.

Profanity

  • There is mild profanity, and nothing beyond the language of a PG film.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • From the above mention fight scene through to the end of the sinking, a section which lasts 5-7 minutes, there is a lot of peril as the character rush around the decks and are forced into the water by the sinking ship. The scene is intense and very loud, as the sounds of the ship falling apart are very pronounce.
