In one of the final scenes aboard the Carpathia, Harold Bride eats off of a white plate with blue ornamentation around it. While every plate aboard the Titanic in the film was an exact replica, this Carpathia plate is an original. It was actually aboard the Carpathia when it rescued Titanic's survivors, meaning, though still unlikely, it might have been the plate the actual Harold Bride ate off.
For a brief moment, Harold Bride is seen looking at a photo of a girl and reading a note. The note is signed "Mabel". Mabel was Harold Bride's fiancé at the time of the disaster, but he broke off the engagement soon after.
There is a short shot of the Carpathia sailing between three icebergs towards a group of lifeboats. The Carpathia used in the shot is an actual photo of the real ship that was animated to be brought to life. The icebergs in the sequence are also photos- all three of them are photos taken at the time by passing ships- each was at some point claimed to be the one Titanic hit.
There is a brief moment during the Carpathia scenes where a brown fedora is visible on top of the wardrobe. This fedora is a reference to the photo where Bride is seen being carried off the Carpathia in New York - he is wearing a brown fedora.
Several of the scenes of the movie- especially during the sinking- are scripted to be word-for-word as they happened aboard the real Titanic.
