It's hard not to get a perverse sense of satisfaction out of Brax being foiled at every turn, although he still gets his fair share of smug looks.Liam stands up to him well and even manages to call Leah out on her constant rose-tinted attitude.Unfortunately, the drug subplot drags it down. There's a decent rationalisation of Liam's earlier silence but by the end of the episode Hayley's using again and Liam's had his annual relapse. Is there nothing better to do with the character?
But the episode really catches light in the other plot line. While it takes some fairly mean-spirited remarks from Roo to set it off, the scenes of Lottie and Sasha indulging in the most low-rent teenage rebellion ever are brilliant, with Lottie going to extreme flights of fancy while Sasha looks on agog. It's a shame Roo interrupts them when she does, Sasha with blue hair would have been great. And there's even some nice material for Alf.
