A young man is in a car accident, smashing into a building, suffering a gunshot wound. When he is visited in the hospital he has serious short term memory loss. Meanwhile, a series of bodies begin to surface. There is so much blood that DB calls in Finn, a woman who is a top expert on blood at crime scenes. They obviously have some history.

Morgan and Nick are eating burritos in a food truck, when an uncontrolled car hits the truck. Nick rescues the driver with Morgan, and soon they learn that he was shot in the head and abdomen, and his name is Wes Clyborn. Nick goes to the hospital with him, while Morgan and Sara process the scene. They find that the car belongs to Elena Perez, who apparently was living in the car. The nurse gives Wes' clothes to Nick and the only evidence is the blood on his shirt. Russell invites his former colleague Julie "Fin" Finley to help the investigation as consultant since she is a blood expert. Now the whole team works trying to find what happened with Wes Clyborn.
"Seeing Red" is an episode of "CSI" with a new member, the blood expert Julie "Fin" Finley. It is clear that Russell and she have a past not shown in this show. I personally like Elisabeth Shue a lot since "Adventures in Babysitting", which is one of my favorite movies ever. The episode, as usual, has many twists until the very surprising ending. My vote is seven.
