- A boy's grandparents mention the death of his mother.
- This show features lots of violence and gore. Teenage students, teachers, and other adults are killed in horrific ways. Most deaths are caused by chance and the environment. In the TV version, violent scenes are censored by dark circles, but the censoring still allows some gore to be seen. The death scenes are explicit, graphic, and frightening.
- Blood, or blood-like substance is seen spread out in the opening animation.

- In the English dub, there are 2 uses of "Fuck", once used as the last dialogue in episode 10 ("...I f*cked up") and the other is the same line as a recap in episode 11. There are also 6 uses of "Shit", with the occasional uses of "Damn" and "Hell" throughout the rest of the show.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- This series is very dark. It has a mysterious ambient and dark themes. The intense scenes don't come by surprise, so, there are no jumpscares in this show. Some strong scenes are offscreen too, but they are minimal. However, there can be just one intense scene in an episode or so, and the rest of the episode is not frightening at all, just with the mysterious ambient. Perhaps, the death scenes are shocking and disturbing. People sensitive to blood, gore and bizarre deaths should stay away from this Anime.

Violence & Gore
- A teenage boy dies from heart attack on screen, he chokes and his face gets scrunched up from pain.
- A girl trips on a stairwell and pierces her neck on the tip of an umbrella. Very bloody and intense.
- A nurse enters an elevator that begins to fall, when it reaches the bottom it slams and explodes on the ground (no gore but very bloody).
- A young woman falls down the stairs with an umbrella, the end of the umbrella goes through her neck. The aftermath was shown after the stab, as she is still alive and struggling while thick phial of blood kept pouring down onto the floor.
- A woman is crushed when the elevator she is in drops to the ground. Her bloodied hand was shown and a puddle of blood had formed.
- A young man dies from heart failure.
- A man stabs himself in the neck. This is by far the goriest scene in the anime as the stabbing scene is prolonged and bloody. He doesn't instantly drop and die once the first stab is performed. Instead, he pushes the knife deeper down his throat and pulls it away, to reveal extensive sprays of blood that come out from his neck. This can also be considered as one of the most terrifying scenes in this anime, judging from another inspection and that is the use of realistic sound effects.
- A young man is crushed by a boat's propellers. Despite his injuries, the scene isn't particularly bloody or realistic. Bloody water is shown for a while, and the victim's hand is seen floating close to the body.
- A young man is struck by lightning. His charred body is shown.
- A young woman trips and falls off a cliff.
- A boulder smashes into a truck and kills a family of a daughter and two adults.
- A crane goes through a house and kills a young man. A lot of blood is shown splattered onto a computer screen, where the man was believed to be.
- A young woman falls to her death.
- A young man is incinerated.
- A young woman is choked to death by a cord. This scene is very disturbing due to it being prolonged and realistic.
- A young woman is blown up.
- A young woman is stabbed in the back.
- A young man is found bloody.
- A young woman is stabbed in the neck.
- A young man is hit in the head with a metal pipe.
- A young woman is impaled with glass.
- A man was shown to fight with another man in a flashback, and it culminated with the other puching the guy's cheek and he ended up falling and gotten impaled on a sharp root of a tree. The root was shown to have penetrated the man's head and went through his mouth.
- A person is killed with a pickaxe.
- A dead old man was displayed to be sitting on a chair in the middle of a burning hall, but upon closer inspection, a lot of sharp blades could be seen sticking out from the man's face as he was killed.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Throughout the series, there are small cross sections (eyecatch or jump cuts) between scenes, briefly showing human figures in suffering. Later it's discovered that the suffering humans, are hyper-realistic ball-jointed dolls.
